| OK... Well, by year's end, a fourth contender will have joined the ranks- Paper Mario 2. Who knows? Maybe it'll prove to be the most detailed of the three...I'm sure I'll love it, anyway. OHOHOH!!! I tried that mario RPG challenge...How the hell can you possibly beat the game on 3?! I mean, seriously...I only fought battles I had to, and I was on about 11 or 12... No, i didn't let Mario die, but when you DO let your characters die, they STILL get XP... So how does that work? Is Mario different or something? I'm trying not to use the Lazy Shells, but once you get to the Eggyolk, you all die if ya don't... I beat the giant sword in one hit with Geno Whirl, though- BOO YAH. |

| I have to say it MarioRpg rules all of them.It has good graphics gameplay and good music.I played it till I lost it that day I can't never find that game no more.sniff.But I hope they remake MarioRpg for Gba as I keep my fingers croosed. | |||

Well, I have to say that M+L Supersaga wasn't the best or the hardest, but it sure was the funniest! Sorry, I can't talk about SMRPG because i've never played it...  |

| I explained what I liked before, but now I'll go into detail. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars: Well, the graphics are okay, I guess, but they were.....well, it's hard to explain what was wrong with them, really. And there are absolutely NO backgrounds at all. The battle system was good, although I didn't like it that you could only use one normal attack. I also don't like the diagnal orientation of things. But the storyline was nice and intense, and it had better battle musics than the other RPG Mario games. Rating: 8.9/10 Paper Mario: This is by far my favorite. The best thing about it was all of the characters are made out of paper! That was new and original. Also, it's the only one with backgrounds. I didn't like the flat style to battles, with every character in a line, but that's a small price to pay for the rest. Also it had BOWSER as the main villain!!!! It had better graphics, too. And it had absolutely WONDERFUL overworld musics. The battle musics weren't as good, although I do like a certain few of them, such as the Tubba Blubba battle music. Rating: 9.6/10 Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga: This one was by far the funniest. "I HAVE FURY!!!!" "Fink-rat!" Mostly because of Fawful, but some other things too. And it had the best battle system, with a straight orientation but 3-D setup. Other things were nice, and the musics were....good, but not GREAT. Rating: 8.9/10 |

| Actually, Bowser being the main villain is something I DIDN'T like. Buuuut... Hopefully the sequel will be a bit deeper, and your party members (which, as I already know, actually count in battle- they have HP) will play a bigger role dialogue wise. Goombario was the only character in the game who really got dialogue as far as party members goes. This new Goomba chick looks cool, too. As for the only other two I know about...They look a bit messd up. But that's all right. |
