*checks score of the game* Sounds like they're having a great time if it's still going on. We look just like you guys do, don't worry. Maybe we wear too many pieces of clothing with the Canadian flag on them, and maybe you wouldn't be used to the French in Quebec - but come on. |

I went to Niagara Falls once. It reminded me of Tijuana. I went to Vancouver once. It reminded me of Australia and Seattle. |

Niagara Falls != Tijuana. I went there once too but it's certainly not seedy and I didn't see any hookers doing body shots. |

Ladies and gents, I am moving to Canada when I grow up. It was awesome. Every aspect of it was spectacular. Here is the play by play Got to the school, boarded, boringness blah blah. On the way up we watched Back to the Future. Got to the border, no problems there. I fell asleep soon after entering Canada, as it was farmland. Speaking of which, the irrigation used....it creeped me out. Down the roads were ditches that extended for miles, in those, are all sorts of crap like wrappers, tires, and garbage in general. From those, they lead out to the farms for irrigation. Anyways, I woke up all of a sudden in a big city. One of the first things I noticed was on a bench was a hammer and sickle (Communist logo) with some acronym involving the letter P in it. Anybody know what that is? Got to McGill an hour late. We got a lesson from some professor, and then went on our merry way to the Hard Rock cafe in Montreal. It was pretty cool. I had a cheese burger, and heard my first "eh" in Canada. This kid had came to me and my friend Scott's table, without getting his order taken. Scott and I were finishing up when the waitress comes over, and sees the kid without food and goes "You already finished then, eh?" So, we're leaving, and waiting for the tour bus to pull up outside, and right in front of the cafe is a Ferarri. This guy comes up to me and Scott who are gazing at this intently, and he starts jabbering at us in poor english. After he kicks the hubcaps, and says "it's made of aluminum" a million times, we see him walk away. We're thinking he's the owner, but no, he walks a few feet down the streets, takes of his cap, and starts begging. Then we went to the hotel, the Hotel des Governeurs Place. It was pretty nice. We watched hockey on Sports Center over and over, with almost no coverage of anything else. Side note for future refrence, we had fights with Jolly Ranchers in the room. Woke up the next day, and drove over to Concordia, where the competition was. From 8-3 I sat around, playing, watching, listening, and eating there. We did well (results to come later) against about 4 other schools. From there we went to the hotel to change into fancy clothes, as we dined at a nice restarunt, the Auberge St. Gabriel. The food was odd, and there wasn't a lot of it, but, I managed to pass the time by freestyling to the dumbest stuff, and performing an operation on the eggplant, and becoming the world's first to transplant a potato to an eggplant. Then it took us awhile, but we went to Theatre Mirella & Lino Saputo, to hear Sights and Sounds of Europe, perfomed by the Metropolitan Orchestra. The playing was really good, but I couldn't understand a thing the narrator was saying. Went back, to bed, etc. Woke up, and went to the Biodome. I'm getting pics developed, and if they don't suck I just might upload them. It was pretty huge, but the zoo part wasn't very large. It was cool, but sort of small. I bought some chocolate there, and tried to use a pay phone to call home. 3.45 Canadian....I didn't make that call. Got home, practiced doing the Crip walk, and then, well Scott dropped a glass table on my foot, and it shattered. We came up with an elaborate plan for Scott to dump it, and swipe another one, but it never came to be, and he had to pay for it. Went to the mall (no Expos ). It was the underground mall, and it was gargantuan. Scott and I were lost in it for about 2 hours. I wanted a poster of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in the Simple Life, in French, but no one had it AND, no shop had a Canadian flag....WTF??? So I bought posters of Che Guevara by Worhol, 12 Monkeys, and The Rat Pack. Then was the disco cruise / awards ceremony. The competition we were on had the awards on a boat. We ended up getting 1st in everything we entered. The food was awful, but that's ok. The disco was nonexistent, as the DJ just played dance music, and I got jiggy with it. Came home, tried to find the results of the NFL draft, couldn't (damn hockey), went to bed, and woke up and came home. If there are any specific questions I'll answer, because I'm sure I've forgotten / omitted stuff. |

Best part about Canada is the PEACE! They don't like guns like we do. So I'll move there to, perhaps. |

Should have headed to Concordia, I could have claimed that I "saw" you. Eh, you have peace but you also have a lot of street beggars. |
