Who do you think is going to take it all the way to the Western and Eastern Conference Finals? Who do you think's going to make it to the NBA finals? I'm hoping that the Kings will take it all the way since their game last night showed me they really can do it! Hopefully the Spurs will get beat by the Lakers or something because the Spurs..they're doing extremely well but maybe that's just because everyone in the Western Conference 1st round playoffs got an easy team and the Kings got left with the Dallas Mavericks . Anyways, what do you think? |

I haven't really payed attention to it this year, as my Celtics are awful. They're going to be swept by the Pacers who will loose to the Lakers in the final |

I want the Magic to win but since they sucked this year, I will root for the Lakers. For the East, I think the Pacers or even the Pistons might reach the Finals. As for the West, tough crowd. Lakers, Kings or the Spurs. |

Ok...let me throw down the cards on this one. Western Division: Lakers, Mavericks, Spurs, Queens, Rockets. Lets face it...any single one of these teams can take the series...but I do have a few flaws with everybody. Lakers:NOT CONSISTENT...the first two games against the Rockets they played amazing defense...not so much in game 3. Gary, Karl, Kobe and Shaq cant seem to get into the same wavelengths. No depth from the bench (altho Slava is definitely trying to pick up his game, his inability to guard without causing a foul is impeding his every move). Final Thought: If they can't seriously pick up their game, San Antonio is going to eat them alive. Mavericks:The team that I think should be getting much more credit than they are. Unfortunately, they cant play defense at all. They rely solely on being able to outscore the other team, and I don't think thats going to work against any team that can play defense (namely the Lakers and Spurs (when both teams are on their game, naturally)). Spurs:They are the definition of a "SOLID" team. Theres a reason theyve been dominating the NBA lately, and its because the team is as close to flawless as can get. Queenscrew the Queens. They play well when teh crowd is behind them and thats about it. Rockets:Ehhhhhh...Francis and Yao just dont cut it. Wont make it past the second round. GO LAKERS. Eastern Division: No chance. Dont even look here. I think its either going to be the Lakers or Dallas. Watch Dallas make a comeback and win the series. |

Haha. Like I said, the Celts were swept. That was totally bogus anyways, they should not have been in contention to win the championship. |

I have a bet going with my friend that the Pistons will win the championship. Im rooting for the Pistons but Shaq and the lakers look unstopable. I at least hope the finals are LA vs Detroit. LETS GO PISTONS LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!! *thinks to himself, i don't even like the pistons* |

I hope someone from my region, the Midwest, wins. I'd really like to see the Pacers take the Eastern Conference Finals, since I'm from Indiana. It looks like the probably will too since they have home court advantage with the series at 2-2, but it's never guaranteed. But I've lived in both states so I'd like to see either team get a chance to kick LA's ass.

Meh, maybe it's because I'm a Celts fan, but I'd rather see Detroit beat Indy, and play the Lakers in the final.

I say Detriot and Lakers in the final now. T-Wolves are as good as done. Even though I'd rather have the T-wolves in the Final going for the Champ. since the Lakers had their turn to shine..and damn them Kings for losing by a few points..damn..oh well. Always a next year.

Yes, that's the way it's looking. Detroit against the Lakers... kind of an interesting match. Detroit plays really defensively, the Lakers play really offensively.

That's the way it's gonna be. Lakers Vs. Pistons. Im against the Lakers in any game even though they are a good team..well Kobe is good..everyone else just follows. I don't watch the East much..mostly the west since the west usually wins all the time. Maybe the Pistons can pull it off so the Lakers won't get even cockier than they are cause they won 4 championships in a span of 5 years

I hate 87-point games. There should really be at least 95 or so at maximum. Anyway, I'm now only 85% sure that the Lakers will win. |

Why I don't want the Pistons to win... If the Pistons win, people are going to start playing their style of basketball. If this happens, nearly every team will play poor offense, but good defense. I don't like these kinds of games. I love offensive games, with scores in the 100 to 120 range, or even beyond. If the Pistons win, this won't happen. I'd expect only a few games next year to reach 100. So, it's not the Pistons, it's their style. |

Why I want the Pistons to win: They'll beat the Lakers. XD Seriously, Detroit's owner can score a rare double here - the NBA Championship (Pistons) and the Stanley Cup (Tampa Bay Lightning). Not bad for an 81-year old recluse. |

Thank you, Malone. I still don't want the NBA to have 50-point games next year. It's really too bad it's a copycat league...

Yeah, it was a good game. Lakers won, now that you guys say that it'll make the other teams have their style of play. I don't like them low scoring games. I like offense So I'd rather have the Lakers win now.. |
