Originally posted by teh1337g0d From what I understand, the Super Game Boy is not just another game. Because it uses its own emulating processor (because to emulate the Game Boy on just the SNES would take too much time), you could not do it in ZSNES, because it doesn't support it. There's little point to make an emulator of an emulator. Instead, you'll probably just want to download a Game Boy emulator with those options and play it through there. |

Super Game Boy is basically an entire Game Boy that plugs into a SNES for video, sound and input. Most GB emulators support SGB features though.

Well, minus the screen, speaker, buttons, batteries, LED, etc... you get the idea.

I'd like to suggest that "rew.exe" ..a Gameboy Color emulator, should work well emulating in Super Gameboy mode. But visualboy advance is still better. |

What about special Frames? I remember Donkey Kong (which was probably one of the only games that really was coded for the Super Gameboy) had a custom Frame added around the actual game-screen on TV... the Super Gameboy itself had other Frames available as well for switching... is there any Gameboy Emu that does this, either?

Options menu, Gameboy, first three items you see. Those are Border, Printer and Border Automatic. |
