Doom 3
Half-Life 2
Unreal Tournament 2004

<Quake 3 voiceover guy>VOTE NOW</Quake 3 voiceover guy>

<edit>I suppose I should start by giving my own opinion. I'm looking most forward to doom 3, although I got UT:GOTYE last week so I've been hanging out in a UT IRC channel, where UT2004 is all the buzz, so I'd like to check that out sometime.</edit>

I hope HL2 will be. Just because of the G man, and Gordon.

And we just need to know what happens after Black Mesa.

And why wasn't this an actual poll?

I'm not a FPS guy at all but I'd think Doom 3 will live up to the hype. If it doesn't... I won't want to be around any message board when that truth comes out.

But we know what happens in D3, it's just Doom, and better.

With HL2, there's a new storyline.

Halo II.

I played the first for hours and hours on end with my friend, and I hope that the second one will bring that same experience.

That, and kicking covenant ass kicks ass.

As long as it's not the same as Halo in its missions, I'll play.

With Halo, it was the same thing, level after level.

Well, some were indoors, some were in the snow, jungle, etc.

But it was the same thing.

*Shrugs*

I think the real appeal of the game, to me, was the fact that my friedn and I could just sit in front of the TV, play the game together, and just hang out.

That's why it was so much fun for me, you don't notice any repetition when you can do that.

Yup, I was thinking about that PA image.

As far as single-player goes, Doom 3's the only one I can see myself spending some time with.

Halo 2 - Best Mulitplayer

Half-Life 2 - Best single player

Doom 3 - Like the original's, just fun.

My money's on Half-Life 2 for the overall best.
