The problem is, as I've stated many times before, HDMA requires a whole new clean ROM. It can get fairly complicated to re-do everything, even with imprort/export options

Hehe, not really. I started hacking this hack back in 2002, and I think, this HDMA-thing was released this year, right? But I'm very sure that I can get a similar effect without HDMA.

@skateboarder11: Yes, the Wario Land GFX is of course still in the game. And I don't want to replace it with something diferrent. In fact, the "Rice Beach"-level is one of my very own favourites in this hack.

@Rain Man: Yeah, I like especially Sonic 1 & 2. I will also add "Flying Battery Zone"-GFX for another level in World 7, but I didn't ripped it yet.

And I wish to thank you all for your comments and suggestions so far. They are very helpful for me!

Or, you could just use BMF's system. Sure, it's not perfect, but I have a couple ideas how to fix that, i just need to ask him for permission for a few things...

Though the graphics appear a bit gritty, at least you're trying to be original. After seeing and playing your previous works, I can honestly say this is above average or better. Good job!

I see no glaring problems with this hack. With the TV, it's hard to make good static. Make the whites less white and the blacks less black. It will look better then. As for the background, you can just rip the Hotel Horror BG from Wario Land 4, since you're already using rips from that game.

As you can see, I changed the TV-GFX right now. ^^ It's still nothing outstanding, of course, but much better than before, I would say. I was also able to set up different animations for the TV-screens, thanks to the new "Edit Extended Animated Frames"-feature, which wasn't in LM back in 2004 (the Hotel Horror-level was one of the last things I did back in 2004 before I made a long pause from hacking this game, lol. _? )

@Tatrion: Thanks for the suggestion, I just took a look on this level, but I think this BG will not fit really much. The Ghost House-GFX is mostly wooden, I think it wouldn't fit to the more stony BG from Wario Land 4's "Hotel Horror".

@Sukasa: Hm... and what's BMF's system?

EDIT: I just fixed the Blue Switch Area-BG as well - actually, without HDMA
