I want to animate these few frame of some pictures I did, but I don't know what program to put them in to save them as an animation. I don't want them turned into gifs either. Thanks in advance

How about Flash? It's pretty expensive, though, unless... you get it... the inofficial way...

If you want flash, get Limewire to download a copy. A serial should come with it, otherwise, go to *NO CRACK SITES* for one. Another program you could consider is GIF Construction Set Professional, (or GIF Construction Set). You search it up on google and get a trial that doesn't expire. EDIT by Prier: No crack site links. But I like crack... On a serious note, you can try ULead GIF Editor, or Adobe Imageready, which comes with Photoshop, I believe. |

I'm pretty sure Microsoft actually made a GIF animation program. Dunno why it wouldn't come with Windows if it's so great though (I mean, Movie Maker does and it's a pile of crap). |

We talking GIF? I use Jasc Animation Shop 3.04 for that. I think that does a few other formats as well (such as ANIs, the mouse animations). Used to use Microangelo back in the day. |

Originally posted by Santa Claus Yep, that's what I use. It's simply called "Microsoft GIF Animator". It's probably not the best though, and I have a few minor problems with it from time to time. But it's still good enough. |

Or... you could use the GIMP for GIFs And there's some PHP module to build SWF files. I don't know if it has a complete featureset, or anywhere near complete. Hell, I haven't actually used it... |

EasyToon was surprisingly not too bad if you want to work in black and white. D:

Flash is your best bet. Download a trial... http://macromedia.com/ The program interface may be confusing at first, depending on if you've used animation programs before. Just keep messing around with the program and see if you'd want to buy it. |

Originally posted by richyawyingtmvI've used that before... It isn't as good as the mircrosoft one. It doesn't display your graphic, and doesn't even make the image transparent. (Or at least, that's what I've noticed after using it sometime... ago...) |

Originally posted by Sonicboom Well, the only way you can really have animated images that aren't .swfs are through gifs. There's no such thing as an animated .jpg/.bmp/whatever. .swf is not very good unless you want a very smooth-looking image. Microsoft GIF Animator is the best GIF animating program I've used. Which is odd, considering it's Microsoft. |
