Oh, didn't see your post there SNN. World 0 is a night-time world, and W 0-4 is another Bowser's Castle, like D-4 is in TLL. I'll show the screens soon.

Certain version of SMB, especially, Disk System, has W -1, -2 and -3.
-1 looks like W7-2 in the water.
-2 looks like W2-3.
-3 looks like W4-4 in the undergound (blue blocks) and no bowser.

Maybe, Japanese version only.

Please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minus_world

WOW! I knew -1 went to 7-2 but I never even herd of -2 or -3.

I don't think you can get to -2 or -3 in the US version.

Useless fact: -1 is actually 36-1. All warp zones need 3 warp points, so they pointed the unused ones to world 36 because tile 36 is blank. For some reason, going through the wall loads the x-5-x warp instead of the 2-3-4 one.

W 0-2 and W 0-4 aren't finished yet, I'll show more screens when they are.

So how do these ones look?

Well, kind of. Googie, Shadic, and Frank15 are allowing me to rebuild levels from their SMB hacks, so I'm picking the best 8 levels out of about 150 to put in these 2 new worlds. By the way, the e-world has been removed from SMBDX (it's still there in TLLDX), and Yoshi and the raccoon leaf are available in the red toad houses (there's a fire flower there too ), which can only be found in worlds 9 and 0. The yellow toad houses are in every other world, each of which holds a fire flower.

Nice screens!
I wonder is it possible to change the spike chains to Roto-discs (those energy balls in SMB3 fortresses). Think about it.
Definatly lookin forward to this.

Neto! World 0-3 looks really nice, though. I really like the way this hack seems to be turning out. It really seems nice.

Yeah. I get missed a lot

World 0 looks great - how did you pull something off like that? Oh, and why are there 2 start points on the 1-1 map? Is that one on the right for a different world?

Great job still

@sk26: eh, no, the disc is kinda hard to rip, and i'm happy with the ball n' chain anyway.

@SNN: in that TLL shot, you see w4 on the right (you can even see the warp pipe from w1-2 to w1-4). I know it looks quite cramped in that shot, but it's really not. I would show a shot of the entire overworld, but it would be quite a spoiler, don't you think?

At the moment, I'm doing some work on Mario's GFX coding, and I'm drawing some new GFX for Luigi, like ducking with an item, or looking up.

These look very impressive. 9-3 in particular. Hopefully, this version won't be as buggy as the last version. Nice job.

I Have Idea,

Why dont you try Make the title fall down from Top Screen Just like Super mario bros 3?

anyway I Tried that game and it is very cool....

I cant wait for Version 1.2 of it

it should have Title fall down effect just like Super mario Bros 3.

Jacob, that would require a lot of ASM work. It would be cool, yes, but it's just not worth all the hassle. But eh, thanks for the idea anyway.

So since I'm having problems with Raccoon Luigi, I've decided that I'll make Luigi (P1 in TLLDX) have the cape, and Raccoon Mario will stay in SMBDX.

It may be a bit of a lame idea, but you could make a layer three background for the title screen, and put the text on layer two, quite high up. Then put on layer 2 smash But it may look kinda lame, but give it a try

I just finished making the glitched worlds from smb.nes (WORLD -1) and smb.fds (WORLD 36-1), so take a look at the screens:

Get to here in w1-2

crouch and jump into the line of walk-through blocks.

Keep crouching and jumping right until you get here, and you're standing on a pipe which looks like bricks. Where the pipe takes you depends on the timer, if it's divisible by 3 or not. It can wither take you to w -1, w36 or w1-2's secret exit.

This is WORLD -1: (same as w7-2)
.

WORLD -2: (water version of w3-4)

WORLD -3: (land version of 3-4)

And if you timed it right, you'll be taken to WORLD 36-1: (water version of 1-3)

WORLD 36-2: (same as 2-3)

WORLD 36-3: (underground version of 4-4)

So how do they look?
