If nobody uses it, I can just carve out the 2-player support in SMW and put in my own code for this next big hack. But, since it's a rather big hack, it might be fun to play in 2P. I wouldn't know, my connection is slow. So I come to the forum to decide as a quorum. |

I rarely play 2-players in hacks unless I want an extra set of lives. It doesn't really matter to me if there's a 2-player option or not. | |||

I wouldn't mind playing hacks of both kinds. But if you keep 2P in, I would really like to see differences between Mario and Luigi (and I don't mean colors ). Yeah, I know that this takes a fair amount of Asm, but... well, it isn't my problem, is it? |

It looks like there's a bigger following than I thought for 2 player hacks. All the more reason to scrap my hack; it had crummy 2P support. Here's a lesson for you kids: an asm-hacked 4-power special ability system that rotates with L and R may sound impressive, especially when you build good levels around it, but when it comes down to the overall game it wasn't balanced. Kyouji Craw helped me see that when he tested it. So, if you want an unlocked copy of a rom with that hack, or want to talk to the person who convinced me it wasn't worth still working on, well, I suppose there's Kyouji. |

I need the 2 Player Mode! Mario sucks, Luigi rules! But I never really thought about really playing hacks with 2 players... Hmm... interesting... Hmm.... I was thinking, for the 2P neederz, why not make a hack that only allows the selection of 1P on the main menu, but there will be several Mario to Luigi and Luigi to Mario BLKTOOL Blocks in it? Fun for friends and siblings, or those who like to see both M and L more. |

ZTiamat, one of the things I wanted to free up was plot by sticking with Mario the whole time. I wanted to put a plot in the game and to tailor to mario, but since my plot kinda sucked anyway, I'm tossing the hack out.
