I assume that the millipede is smaller. And I didn´t know that it existed an insect with that name.

Yowza, that was a long "EW".

I don´t think all millipedes have more legs than centipedes.

Millipedes have four legs per segment, while centipedes have two. If compared at the same age, millipedes are pretty much always going to have more legs. (I say "in general" because you could chop off the millipede's legs and then it would have less than the centipede.)

Oooh, okay I got it. I knew I saw more legs on the millipede than the centipede . I thought maybe it was the picture that made the millipede look like it had more legs. They're both EWW though.

It was crawling on the floor once when I was about to go to bed in Ontario (no, not this visit; a prior one).

So... yeah. I'm glad it never appeared again. Bella understands now.

I´d say that cockroaches are worse. You can drop a nuclear bomb on them and the STILL survive.

Don´t have those here, though.

Roaches can't fart though. Baking soda = messy explosive death.

The phylum arthropoda has several classes, one of which is insecta. Millipedes and centipedes belong to myriapoda (many legs). Spiders and ticks are arachnida, and lobsters and crabs are in crustacea. Next time you're eating a lobster or crab, remember how closely related it is to a spider, or a fly, or a bee, or a millipede...

(Edit: That's sarcasm. They're far more distant than, say, people Vs. Cows. But a lot of people make that argument. They're stupid, not just ignorant)

Sure, cockroaches are a pain, but at least you can go outside, and try karate kicks on 'em!
Spiders on the other hand... OMFG EWWW!!!
I woke up to a big-assed one above my head about a week ago. IT WAS FUCKING HUGE!!!
I sprayed it with outdoor insect killing spray - apparently which is harmful to use indoors, unless well ventilated. Good times, good times.

So it crawled over to my door, and a good hit with my shoe got it good. I got it good another several times just to make sure.

Disposing of it remained to be the only problem. Shit, I ain't touchin' that thing!
Good ol' Mr. Vacuum Cleaner fixed that problem real good... But only after the spider had been rotting there in the corner for a few days.

Bah! Screw millipedes! How about a billipede...or even a googlepede!!
one million zeroes in a google. That's a shit-load of legs!

The spider thing reminded me last night there was a decent sized spider on my wall and I tried to get it with some sock and it fell out and I kind of screamed and then I picked it up and squished it in the sock. There was a scrunch I should have put it in my sisters bed it would have really made her scream.

Yuck! A scrunch? I would´ve put it in my brother's bed. Or my mother's.

Why didn´t you pick it up with your bare hands?

I squirmed while reading that, Bella. You're freaking crazy!
My late father was one crazy dude!
Once, there was a massive spider on my aunty's door while we were all having christmas here one time (I live with my aunty now - just to clear things up), and no one wanted to go near it. My dad walked up to it, and "SLAP!", he squashed it with his bare-freaking-hands!!!

He had rock-solid feet, too! He never wore shoes, you see, and one time at the beach, he entertained himself by stepping on blue-bottles, resulting in a popping noise. They're supposed to be slightly poisonous!
