| Ive finally succumbed into buying an X-Box, now everything I own has the name Microsoft on it preety much. Ninja Gaiden was the reason, greatest game ever and its a challenge for a veteran gamer such as myself. Who else put a stand to vow to never buy an X-Box I know I did but,  . |

| I'll probably never get an X-Box, not because I think it's evil, or that I dislike Microsoft (Only complaint is that I still haven't gotten my Billion from Billy G, I could really use that cash). It's that there are really no games on that system that I feel I must have. Most of the games that my friends have are sports games, which come out on every system and shooters, which I can get on computer that are a lot better. But recently there have been some really great games coming out on X-Box, like Ninja Gaiden, and I really would like to play Chronicles of Riddick, but hopefully those get ported to other systems. I find that my GC and PS2 have a lot more games that I'm interested in and they are both working out great for me. I'll get my X-Box play at my friends house. | |||

| Gamecube was going to fail horribly after the first few months. I think that's debatable. I don't really see many games on the XBox that I'd want to play. Maybe Ninja Gaiden but that's about it really. |

I am actually planning to get a gamecube but i also own an X-box and i love it And Halo wasn't the only reason X-box was popular, when a game console comes out everyone wants to know about it... their was a spy-game that helped X-box sell, can't think of its name right now  |

I think some of them suck balls, other people however... So now that THAT'S out of the way... WTF is up with this "pants" shit? Don't. And yes, Halo WAS the reason why the X-Box isn't dead today. And I still say Halo is super overrated. You can throw single player out the window right now because it's boring and repetitive. The only saving grace with Halo is multiplayer. Didn't play Crimson Skies but I found it at Wal-Mart (PC version) for ten bucks. I'd go for that. Gamecube going to fail horribly after the first few months? Naw, they had a very decent/solid lineup for the future. And the launch games weren't half bad either. It was worth buying the system just for SSBM which is why I bought it in the first place. That, and the controllers were worlds better than the N64. Anyway, as for the X-Box now, it's certainly and undeniably came a LONG way from when it was launched. It now has a very good selection of choice games. It's worth having just for Gaiden and KOTOR. One of the best RPG's in history and what I consider to be the best action game of all time. There's no living without these games. And the way Fable shapes up to be? Hoo boy. Also, the online system is loads better than Sony's. I love how X-Box live works. One payment, one username, for all games sans PSO. Then you have all the features that come along with it. Great stuff. Another cool thing is the hard drive. Did you know that you can replace the hard drive with a bigger one (sayyyy 200GB), install a mod chip, and use a certain piece of software to play games you download onto the hard drive? For instance, you could go to Blockbuster, rent a game, put it on your hard drive, and you'd have the game just like that. I plan on doing it in the future. You can hold about 75 games or so on a 200GB hard drive. I want to put all my current games on there so I don't have to change the disk when I want to play a new game. Maybe it's just me, but I haven't really been drawn to any games on the XBox...  Actually, most next gen games don't hook me... I still love playing the N64, SNES, and NES... I guess some GBA games, too... RPGs are what I like, so most of the time I'm either playing those systems or just my PC... |
