Well, Boston wll be pissed, or at least slightly "miffed." Now for sale, the Alex Rodriguez coin, minted and everything. Only $13 people! Here's my reaction...

Uh, that's really stupid.

Why would anyone want one?
Of course, that's coming from a Sox fan, but still...

We'll give you your very own 'Nomah' coin. Just get through the playoffs, first.

In all actuality, minting such a coin is dumb and I can't understand the reason for it.

Even if it was a Nomar coin I still wouldn't buy it.

I'm buying a coin with a baseball player on it. Doesn't make too much "cents"

You should be shot immediately .

Anyhow, whose idea what this, and who's minting it? It can't be a government thing, right?

No, it isn't. Some morons bought a bunch of NY quarters and painted his freakishly hideous mug all over them. Every time I see the ads on TV, I have to act like I'm pumping a few shells into the coin. Asshats.

(And this time, I'm not even talking about the Yankees! The people who made these coins will die. This isn't even coming from someone who runs around in a "GAY-ROD" or "Jeter Sucks A-Rod" jersey, either. Those are just in poor taste. )

Heh, not to derail the thread, but I think it's hilarious how Red Sox fans are so blatantly jealous: after a game at Fenway, if you walk the streets for a bit you will see dozens of vendors selling "Yankees suck" shirts. I don't think they even make a Red Sox equivalent, and if they did then you certainly wouldn't see it on sale in New York!

It's not even amusing at all.

The chants in the stadium are funny, especially when you can hear them on TV, but when you have bumper stickers like JETER SWALLOWS....I just have to shake my head.
