Should we implement a change?
User colors are fun, but a bit old and boring. Should we implement some color changes?

Definitly yes.

It will make it easier to see which powerlevel is which ('specialy for Female -> Normal, Localmod)

Some of the new ones would clash with a lot of schemes (or blend in too much), I'd think... especially the administrator ones.

I like the white local mod color, it looks cooler than the light blue LM color...

But that golden FM color does look pretty snazzy for all us godly unspecifieds.

Why is there almost no change to the female colors?

I still don't understand the obsession with making Male Admins yellow. =/

Other than that, I like the new ones.

Perhaps in those cases, with each scheme, the offending colors could be changed a bit to look better.
I doubt anyone would do that, but hey.

Why not.

LM female and LM unspec. are still too close if you ask me...

Now FM male and LM male are really close as well.

Hmmm... perhaps use a light green-yellow for LM unspec. and the really blunt green for male FM?

They ARE a nice change from the usual

Hey, maybe you could make it so that you can choose a specific username color "set". So that if it doesn't work out with your current scheme, or you hate change, you can stick with the old one.
Everyone could be satisfied that way, yeah?

Yeah, just like the old "Mark Forum Read" option

Despite the fact user name colors can be set in the schemes... or could, I don't know if that's another feature 1.B eliminated.

YD: That's a great idea, seriously! We can make 2 or 3 sets.

I know not everyone will like every color, but not everyone likes every color now. I'm asking if you think the new palette is better than the old.

Although three sets? That's a little excessive (Unless they're completely different, unlike this one that's still pretty similar)

No, mainly because the Male and N/A FM colors are fugly. Extememly fugly. I'd rather stick with my dark green.

Also, yeah, YD had a good point with users picking which username color scheme they want.

It'd be like choosing your gender, you also get to choose your color scheme!

Hey, maybe we could give it like, a trial run or something?

I mean, I know it's just colors but still that'd be sorta neat, right?

Giving it a trial run might be the only way for people to see it looks better than the current colors. Because I'm sure people who don't like it now would come to like it, like they've come to accept this current palette.

When I joined the board, the same palettes were there, with the exception of the unispecified local mod, wich got changed sometime in 2003.

Mark read is obsolete on any MODERN forum anyway but... I digress.

NEW COLORS FTW. People who don't want them have no <3 for purdyness.
