I've made my way to Bramble Blast, the last level before the boss of Krem Quay and when I enter the first bonus stage of the level, here's what happens when it starts.

I took the picture right before losing the bonus stage and returning to the level. I want to know if that it happens in my rom only or not. Was there a barrel in the actual game where the bananas are pointing to?

Is this happening to you?

Huh? I don't recall that being there, but there seems to be an even bigger problem. A section of the brambles on the top has been cut off. It's definetly the ROM. The only other possibility is ZSNES (or is it SNES9X you've got there?), but I doubt it.

I'm using ZSNES right now.

That's quite the predicament you've got there.
Yeah, that's the rom. Save the .srm file, and replace the rom with a new one.

If you have anymore problems, search for a savestate. That'll help from looking for a rom altogether.

Not necessarily. If the ROM is corrupt, more problems may appear. Plus what are the chances he'll find a save state right around the point he's at?

Thanks guys, all I needed to know is if there was something wrong with my old rom. My new rom shows the floor in that bonus level so now it's possible for me to get 100% without cheating.

Have you tired playing it with another emu ? You could see that way if it's really the rom.
