| I've been trying to play the rom of earthworm jim on ZSNES and it seems to just not work. The sound is buggy and at random times the game just freezes. Is it a bad rom or is the emulator unable to handle it? If it is a bad rom I'd like to know what i can do about it | |||

| I think its a bad rom. Try to find the rom with (U) [!] on it. If that doesnt work, update ZSNES. | |||

| My rom does have the [!] behind it. and according to the ZSNES website ive got the latest version. also it freezes up from time to time. I think I do have a bad rom but i dont know where to get a better one (the site i go to has never given me a buggy rom before) | |||

| Did you get the latest WIP from here? Scan your ROM with NSRT (v3.2 has a GUI) to see if it's a bad one. |

You should create a new directory for each version of your applications, and then adjust your shortcuts. Last thing I heard about EWJ2 was that it uses HDMA for sound output. ZSNES and SNES9x have slight problems with CPU<->APU timing and even more with HDMA. Most games are flexible enough so they don't crash. Keep checking for new emulator releases (ZSNES, SNES9x, bsnes, Sneese, Super Sleuth etc.); one day timing may be accurate enough.
