Canada's not cold in the summer.

When Katrina hit, it was ugly here for one day... good spot of rain on a humid day. Nice and steamy.

Well, what's "not cold" to you Colleen? Because if you say 60 or 70, that's considered cold where I live.

Yeah, exactly. 60, 70 is considered cold here too. 70 not too much but still can be.

You say it's not cold there because you're used to the climate.

Yeah, it's barely rained here all year. A few days ago we had a big storm, but it only lasted one day, and now it's back to good ole 90-100 degree days.

I love the rain. This sucks.

Anything below 60 I would consider cold in southwest Texas. I need some rain badly, it hasn't rained since the last week of school before summer vacation. I'm tired of having 100 degrees every day and the record so far is 106 degrees.

Whoa whoa whoa!
You guys have it easy.

Try 50-60 degress in THE PEAK OF SUMMER as a beautiful day, 20-30 degress in the winter as cool, and 0-10 degress in the winter as freezing. If its in the negatives, we Alaskans stay inside or run like hell in the process of getting to your car or getting out of your car.

Alaska sucks.

Yeah, but in Southern Canada, where everyone lives, it's usually not much less than ~5°F.

It rained like hell for a while here last night. Pretty windy too. My mom thought it was Rita, but it was just a lot of rain.

[edit] Guess I was a bit off. -15°C = 5°F. Of course it gets to anywhere between 20-40°C (68-104°F) in the summer. Now, Alberta is cold. You know it's cold when you're wearing a sweatshirt in July. Rains a lot too.

Katrina, Rita, now a third is supposedly on the way. I think I can conclusively say, "Mother nature doesn't care about black people."

3rd hurricane already on the way? I wonder how many more will hit so many in so little time.

I like it when it´s around 80 degrees F during summer but I want it to be hotter when I´m swimming/bathing.

Typhoon hit China? I didn't even know that 72 people died..well at least it wasn't too many people. They took many precautions though..moving out over 1 million people from homes. Didn't we know about Katrina before it hit? We should have started prepping for it way before or something..

Jeez... I couldn't live in -30 degree weather. Poor Canadians...

It rained all day here and I heard people going "Ugh, it's Rita."

...Of course, that's impossible since it took a good 5 days or so for Katrina to dump rain on us. Rita isn't as fast. We have some showers in the forecast Thursday so that MIGHT be Rita if it's headed our way. But she'll be a weak little lady if it's her.

Yeah, I assume you wouldn´t stand more violent weather.

I knew about that Typhoon in China. They talked about it on the news a few days ago.

If you're from Alaska, Snika..then wouldn't it be just as cold as Canada or something?

Maybe Rita went really fast just to make its way there in Canada to give you guys some rain
