Only time I bumped a thread (8 months) was when someone linked me to it and I didn't know it was old. I deleted the post and all was well again.  That said, it'd have to be when everyone was adminned; I went to change various peoples' powerlevels back, and accidentally changed Leg's password.  That was a dumb idea. |

| Bumped some threads in PKMN hacking forum. And as everyone knows, my layout is always messed for some reason (Exploding tables were the most common) Now it has the bg cut down. Sometimes the bg shows right, but now it just cuts, and i only copied and pasted the header generated by the background url that's put in the background textbox in "Edit layout". Also my english is not so much accurate, what do you think? | |||

I wouldn't consider a one-hour bump to be anywhere near old. I think most, if not all of the people here consider bumps to be posting in threads that are more than a couple weeks old (even less than that, possibly). If you were to post in a thread that was, say, one month old, that would be a bump, this isn't though  As for mistakes, a couple more came to mind this morning Back when I still posted in newbie threads to say "Welcome to the Board" and such, I'd usually fit a mention of reading the FAQ somewhere in my post. All I remember of the reply to my post was "Yes, I read the FAQ, thank you  " or something like that  The other thing that came to mind is when DAVALLR was new to the board. He bumped many threads in the SMW Hacking section, and I finally told him in one of them to stop doing that, along with other people, then got reminded by someone else of the "if you're not a moderator or administrator, then don't act like one" rule in the FAQ  I can't help but feel there's a few more, but for now, there's two more things. |

| When I was new, I accidentally bumped an old thread, and got warned by Legion, I think. I made a spamastic thread in Craziness Domain, and that topic got locked and thrashed, and I got warned by Colleen. I think those two were the only newbie mistakes I made - I've been careful since then |

| Actually, bumping can be 2 things. 1) Posting in a way old thread. 2) Posting something useless (eg "bump") to bring the topic back up to the top. Some forums allow this, but most don't. This one doesn't. |

| Biggest mistake? Well getting caught up in the whole 'win ACS' thing everday and make pointless posts simply to beat the poster formerly known as 'gamefreak' Besides that nothing else.
