I'm having some trouble with my speakers. Every time a web page is loading up on my computer, I hear these annoying crackling noises whenever the speakers are turned on. How do I fix this? | |||

Not sure, but the first thing I try to check is the drivers. If you have a seperate sound card, download the latest drivers from the Manufacturer's website. If you have "onboard" sound, then go to your Motherboard manufacturer's website and find the sound chipset drivers, make sure you have the latest of those too. My speakers would do something strange, and so I updated all the Motherboard chipset drivers and it hasn't done it anymore. They'd get into a repetetive crackle (there was a distinct pattern to it) which would not resolve itself until Windows was rebooted. Most recent drivers fixed it, and it hasn't occurred since. So yeah, try the drivers. |
