| Well, honestly, what do you consider spam? My personal view is that spam consists largely of posts that are single words (i.e. "lol","xD", "cool"), or phrases that are ultimately meaningless ("lol ur cool" "lol that's cool"), rather than actually bothering to write them out. Thoughts? |

| I'd have to agree with you there. Many posters here have developed the fine art of JUST coming short of making sense in their attempts to up their post count (note: generalizing!). As for myself, I tend to make short or cryptic posts because I think they are funny (not that short posts themselves are, but the ever-loving post content). I like having fun while posting, but not necsarilly upping my post count. |

| More importantly, why do people care so much about spam in the first place? It doesn't hurt to read it, it doesn't burn the retinas, it doesn't give you a headache. And yet, some people freak the fuck out about it.  It's not like we ever had a huge spam problem in the first place. Ever. Some people need to chill. |

| Legion and Bit have both expressed my feelings very well. I don't think spam is really a big deal most of the time, unless it's annoying little messages like what I mentioned earlier, and I more so mean things like one-word posts with messages like "lol", simply because it's somewhat retarded, but really, it's just annoying to me, that's all. ;D | |||

| Should be multi-voting because the top two I would consider the same, more towards the second one. Reason I say off-topic as well is because it is considered to be as such. However, I would only go nuts if it was something I saw the other day where there was a thread on a board the was talking about FF4 GBA and this one person writes 'yea, FF rocks' in the middle of a conversation about something that wasn't exactly praising the series more than a conversation about an upcoming game. Obviously post-raising stuff like that I really don't care for. At least TRY to make a somewhat on topic post. |

Spam is nasty  I'd never eat it..Nah but off topic/post that make no sense I consider spam. Or yeah, like those ones that just say LOL COOL or something..then those ones suck. If you want to go off topic or something..add something to the post. Then again, I just skip some posts that make no sense and those are considered spam to me. |

| Making 6 threads in the time-span of 10 minutes and useless replies for post count. I noticed this yesterday, from one member in particular, who also happened to post in this thread. My definition: One word/sentence reply to a conversation, like "what do you think?" "sucks." type deals. Replying to start an argument, flame, troll, or otherwise not helping to the discussion or topic at hand. AOL-speak, seriously, this pisses me the fuck off wh4n p30pl3 start tlkin leik this omg!
