Everybody is correct... the reason this machine was original obtained was to use as a game machine and acmlm.org came along later. Since tRO is basically dead, we no longer have any use for a high end machine..... Sooo... we have 5 days.. I will give back the donations we have received and notify serverbeach we are shutting the machine down on the 24th of september |

I think he's saying, since there's no need for a high end machine, they could be getting a smaller, lower performance server, or I could be wrong completely, and they'll kick us off the server. If I was to choose a fate for this, I would just say, give the board to ||bass, or some other trusted admin, and re-set this up on another server, if, ineed, they do kick us. |

We are looking for a cheap hosting solution These boards currently transfer about 24Gbytes a day... Yes, that is 24 gigs This means we need a host that is willing to support a 720Gig/month bandwidth load. Also, due to the use of gd2 to make those fancy graphics, it is kinda a CPU pig. Several of the cheaper hosting solutions i've looked at don't support gd2 (this machine didn't support gd2 until the ragnarok server became so unloaded that we could spare the cycles) Everything will be backed up so nothing will be lost |
