| "Ah yes, a city, a city... My kingdom for a city!" Schwa says playfully, doing a small loop-de-loop as he flies. Then, all the sudden, he is nowhere in sight at all... and Corona is alone... Then, after a minute or so, the clouds nearby practically burst open as Schwa plummets through them, still on his Psi Disc. "YaHOO!! Valkyrie Style!" It has clearly been a long time since he's had this much fun. It may be of curiosity as to why he's having such a good time. Then he swoops around the back of DCorona and streaks straight ahead. "MetroRashi is a few miles ahead. That's a fairly big city with a fairly big population... Hope that works. Now, see if you can keep up with The Schwa!" Suddenly, there's a large burst of rainbow-ether from Schwa as he triples his flight speed, trailing it behind him as well. "HYYYYPERRRRR!!!" |

| Corona spins around in time to see Schwa flying off. With a grin and a roar, he soars off in pursuit. With a steady wingbeat, he's able to keep up pretty well, and of course the faster he goes the warmer his wings get, which enables him to fly faster. He's about to make an idle joke about the weather when Hyper Mode hits. Corona is left staring at the energy trail left by a rapidly-vanishing Schwa, but not for long. He staggers his flight so that his left wing picks up some of the energy from the acceleration, then his right, back and forth. The psychadelic stuff completely covers both wings, and suddenly crystallizes. The flame heats up even farther, into purple, then blue, almost white. Corona laughs out loud at the influx of power, then flaps his wings a bit. In no time he's caught up with Schwa, and keeps his speed identical to his partner's. They pass a small gap in the clouds, and Corona wonders if he looks like a Psi Warrior dragon to those down below. Either way, he's having ridiculous amounts of fun flying through the air. | |||

| "Oops, overshoot." Schwa watches the city below them pass by in seconds. ...THEN he looks up and sees a rapidly-approaching plane. "Bloody hell! Hit the BRAKES!!" Schwa tilts backward, concentrating with all his might, and ether shoots everywhere from the Psi Disc he rides, as the sound of rusty scraping, metal wires (odd as it is) fills the air as Schwa hits the emergency "energy brakes". The sound comes from negative energy being released out of the holy energy to quickly stop the Psi Disc. Schwa flips over and taps the moving plane with one hand, finally ending up in a single-handstand on the plane, moving with it and not seeming to slow it down. He's just hovering in that stance, very awkwardly. He hopes to God that DCorona managed to slow down in time, like him, or someone's gonna be having a bad day. Meanwhile, inside the plane... "Shush, Mary Ann, I'm doing it." *Shuck-shuck* "No, Henry, don't! You'll fall off the wing!" "Honey, Gremlins used to scare me. Now it's my job to make sure they don't scare others. I'm-a gonna git out there an' blast that 'onrey Gremlin critter back ta Hades, wind or no wind. An' I'm gonna use this gun, too!" A bearded man takes the secret exit, and prepares to exit the plane with a rifle... |

| Corona can see the plane coming towards him, or rather that he's coming towards the plane, but he knows he can't slow down in time. He makes the decision to try something new... The impact happens. Corona slams into the nose of the plane... or at least that's what it looks like. The plane continues moving forward, and it turns out that Corona is molding himself around it! A wave of red... stuff... passes quickly over the machine, and then Corona is intact as a dragon on the other side. The only problem is that he loses all previous momentum, and it's all he can do to stop from falling. | |||

| Schwa doesn't move, but speaks to DCorona... "Close save, pal. Sheesh, that was close... I'm still in a lot of shock to move, so--" *BLAMMO!!* A huge blast of blue ether erupts from Schwa's right torso. "Argh, I've been shot!" Schwa falls on the wing, almost rolls off, and is now holding on by his left hand, still working at conjuring up his Psi. A bearded man with a rifle is standing on top of the plane. "Take that, ya onry critter from Hades!" He loads another shot... *Shuck-shuck* ...and prepares to fire again as he approaches the hanging Schwa. "Wha'd do I look like, a Gremlin?" Schwa retorts. The man just laughs savagely. Schwa holds back an insult... "Okay, Corona, uh... Could you, like, kindly change this man's mind for me?" |

| "Certainly! I'd love to... I'll just-" Corona cuts off. He raises both foreclaws to his head, and shakes it back and forth vigorously. Inside his mind, something strange is happening... and to most observers, Corona vanishes. In reality, he's been moved to an alternate dimension, one which never existed before today... Corona stands up. He's in the middle of a clearing in a forest, which looks vaguely tropical. With a few looks around, he decides he's never been there before, plus there's this weird mushroom thing next to him. It just shouted Schwa's name a few times, so he looks up to the sky. Sure enough, the Psi Warrior is coming down for a landing. Corona tries to shout out a greeting, but nothing comes out. The small creature next to him pleads for Schwa's help, and then Corona realizes he can't move his body at all. He's still a dragon... in just a few moments, a several white spheres of energy come hurtling towards him, knocking him back into a tree. He feels pain, but is still immobilized. Suddenly Schwa draws a sword made of something that looks like silver, and plunges it through the dragon's scales, followed by a quick Psibeam. It takes no time at all, and Corona is nearly dead. Somehow he's still conscious through the pain, but he's not in control. A voice speaks into his mind... Welcome, Corona, to your own private hell. Time is subjective, and your little flaming race with Schwa used up a lot of yours. The lingering protection of the Psipalace is already gone, so it was simple to bring you here. It'll be fun inflicting more pain upon you than could possibly- There's a sound like that of breaking glass, extending through all dimensions, and Corona finds himself back near the plane. He was only gone for less than a second, and his wounds seem to have been unreal. With a grin, he charges through the air towards the crazy superstitious man, and is really close to him when he suddenly stops, and taps the rifle with a single talon. It promptly disappears. "I advise you against shooting my friend. What madness could possess you to attack a Psi Warrior and his," There is a short pause, "Ally? I was under the impression that EVERYONE knew about them, but somehow you remain ignorant. I pity you." He turns back to Schwa. "Come on, let's go. I saw a mountain down below that I think I recognize... The Forest of Sorrows should be just a few miles to the southwest of here." He gestures to the wound. "Do you need any help with that?" |

| Interestingly, Schwa is not wounded. He smiles. "Heh, Psi Warriors are incapable of bleeding. Cool, huh? The pain's there, and I took damage, but no wound. Cool, huh?" The man grows impatient. "Where's my gun!!?" "Sorry, pally, we gotta go. Tell ya what... Go to the nearest Oracle Temple and pray for a gun. Other than that..." Schwa lets go of the plane wing and freefalls, enjoying it... Halfway to the ground, a Psi Disc reappears under Schwa and he takes off wherever the mountain is. He seems to know. "Corona... I could SWEAR you vanished from existance for a split-second. Is that dark dude playing mind-games with us or something? He better not do this the whole way." Pause. "Ha! He KNOWS if you bring a Psi Warrior to him, he'll die. He's scared! That's pretty funny." |

| For the first time since he awakened, Corona seems unable to put his thoughts into words. The images of the torture dimension flood through his mind, but he doesn't know what to say. He's leading the way towards the forest now, but it's still quite a ways away... He tries to explain the thoughts that are arriving in his mind as he gets closer to the forest. "...No. He won't die from the power of an ordinary Psi Warrior. The Dark One is not, by ordinary standards, strictly evil. His mastery is not over the forces of evil, but of darkness itself. He does evil acts, but his soul is bonded to what's called the Silver Azure. It gives him shadow powers, infused into his very existence. This connection is very similar to what the Psi Warriors achieve, but without a pact against evil, nor a pact against good. It's the ultimate power of neutrality... and any power based firmly in good or evil cannot harm him. He does not fear the Psi Warriors, Schwa. He fears YOU. There must be some reason why... You have a power that other Psi Warriors do not, but have the courage and resolve of the Psi Warriors to defeat your enemy. That is why the Dark One is trying to regain control of my body. Especially in this form, fully transformed and with a shield on my wings made of your Psi Energies, he could sacrifice me to buy him enough time to... Prepare himself. We can't give him time." Corona's voice has gone grim. He's reabsorbing memories from the forest very quickly as he approaches it... and it's not even in view yet. What horrors will he recall as they come even nearer? |

| There's another pause as Schwa thinks of what to say. "Well... I can't help but feel a little flattered, though at the same time I know this is no laughing matter... I promise you, if you ask Sensae for guidance, you'll receive it. Then of course you have the ability to go Ultra a single time by directly asking the Assets to empower you, but it would be very wise to save that little tool. Sensae never just gives either side the battle, you know... He helps those who give effort. That's a mistake a lot of, uh, "ignorant neutrals", make. 'My master is Sensae. He's very strong.' 'Oooh! Can he help me with this? Can he help me with that?' You're not like that, though. Don't get me wrong." Another pause. "Hey, uh, how much longer, anyway?" |

| As if on cue, the mountains in front of them give way to what seems at first to be a vast green plain, stretching out to the edges of paranormal sight. Upon closer inspection, it is revealed that it is not grass, but trees that rise from the ground in every corner of the enormous valley. But Corona doesn't stop. He keeps flying, and it seems as though he's cutting across to get to a different edge of the forest. Soon it's clear why he's not going to the center, as the bright green of the trees gives way to the bright green of grass. The valley extends further away from the forest, giving the only practical land access to the Forest of Sorrows. And standing in this path is an immense army of gigantic creatures. Each one has yellowish-brown skin bursting with muscles, a bald bestial face, rows of spiky green teeth, and is coincidentally as big as a house. They're all wielding burning wooden axes, with hafts the size of tree trunks. It's at least four hundred mountain trolls, and they're looking for trouble. Trouble which conveniently steps out of the forest in the form of two figures: The first is a black-haired man wearing black leather armor, carrying a wicked longsword inscribed with thousands of tiny runes which he holds in hands bound by indigo bandages. A flock of ravens suddenly descends from who-knows-where and joins together on his back, forming a cloak. The second figure is a far younger girl with the same black hair, wearing robes and jewelry all in shades of purple. She's also notable for the fact that she's floating a few feet off the ground, and seems slightly translucent. Corona quickly flies down and lands alongside the two, morphing back into the form of a robed human. In this shape, it is easy to see the patterns of the Concordant Oath lined up across the robes and skin. "Schwa, this is Ashra, guardian of the Forest of Sorrows, and Nira, who... It's complex, but basically she IS the Forest of Sorrows. They're brother and sister. Ashra, Nira, this is Schwa. If you couldn't tell already, he's a Psi Warrior. We seem to have arrived in time for a little party, I hope you don't mind if we join in." |

| "Always pleased to meet a new ally," Schwa says, bowing slightly in respect. That may be the Psi Warrior's greeting; a slight bow. "Now, in all seriousness... Trolls there," he points to the trolls, "Us over here," he motions to the little party that consists of Schwa, Corona, Ashra and Nira, "...I assume by 'party', it's us versus them? Seems a little one-sided, actually..." Pause, "...Poor trolls!" He grins really quickly. "I personally am going to enjoy this. Let's see who can rack up the most KO's!" For clarification, Schwa has been having a lot of fun recently, for he knows that a positive attitude is very intimidating against Evil, ANY Evil. |

| (ooc: For clarification, I'm going to start using the whole "name: speech" style for talking. Otherwise, things could get very very confusing...) Nira: "Sounds like fun. Hopefully you can deal with these... See that mark on their axes? The litle star shape means this is the Diamond Clan, and their advantage over most trolls is that they can regenerate any damage they take. No weakness to fire or acid, I mean. You have to take them out all in one shot." She barely has enough time to finish speaking before the trolls charge. Simultaneously, Ashra runs forward, blade at the ready, as Nira begins concentrating. Corona brushes aside the outermost robe, pulling out a long black staff that couldn't possibly have fit inside the pocket he took it out of. He holds it in front of him, and it begins glowing with red energy. Nira finishes casting. What appears to be a black bolt of lightning rushes out of the sky, colliding fiercely with Ashra's runesword. Every single sigil lights up with violet fire as Ashra continues his mad dash forwards. He speeds up exponentially with the addition of the flames, and reaches the foremost troll before he's taken twenty steps. He leaps high into the air, holding his sword above his head as he twists through the sky. A beam of voidflare shoots out from the end of the sword as it spins laterally, causing a wall of darkness to envelop and destroy the first line of attackers. As he falls from the sky, he slices right through another troll. Corona is still storing energy... |

| "Beautiful! But I'm not gonna stand back and watch..." *TWEEEEEET!!* Schwa whistles shrilly, and a small time-space opening appears nearby for a tiny moment as Solaris reappears. Having not been in the Chao Dimension but at the Psipalace, he was easily able to return to Schwa's side without wasting two turns. Right as Solaris enters the scene, he divebombs Schwa, then stops instantly and barely taps him in the back, sending an energy ripple effect and causing Schwa to light up and his ether flare brightly. Solaris's particular special ability sent Schwa a free turn of charged energy. And he keeps charging, too! By the start of next turn, he'll have two turns of charged energy, and he knows the perfect way to use it... Meanwhile, Solaris flies backwards and lands right next to Pingo, who, for some reason, is 10 feet behind Corona and Schwa. "You think Schwa will go Satelite Unity or A.G.O?" "Chaaa!!" Pingo chuckles a little. Schwa's gonna have some wondering to do pretty soon. |

| Ashra's holding back three columns of trolls with sword combinations alone. He's not getting many kills at this point, but mostly trying to instill terror into his enemies. The voidflare from his initial attack remains burning on the ground, serving as a moat of sorts that many of the trolls fear to cross. Nevertheless, several dozen of them work up the courage before Ashra can disable them. Corona turns to look at Nira, who is already looking at him. They both nod. With a childlike mischievous smile, Corona pulls back his staff and runs forward a few steps before hurling it like a javelin. It soars off into the sky above the trolls, and disappears entirely. Meanwhile, Nira is pouring time energy into the staff. Just a few seconds later, it has completed its trademark journey around the sun and hits the ground in the center of the approaching trolls. An explosion of fire and arcane energy erupts outwards, completely annihilating most of the nearby trolls. However, several trolls merely lost body parts, which regenerate instantly as they continue running. They're now halfway across the field, and there are ten of them left. |

| "GAH!! Well, I guess we know who won the game... Ah well, I still got a move left." He releases an ultimate attack. "Alpha Gamma Omega!!" (epic blast) He lets loose a triple combo. His first attack are two red beams that he sweeps over the trolls, lowering their Defense stats. Then, out of his shoulders shoot two white wisps that home in on the few trolls that avoided the beam, paralyzing them. And finally, Schwa takes a second to wind up and releases a HUGE sphere of energy forward (56 feet in diameter) that envelops all the trolls left as it shoots ahead, and the unbelievable-damage attack is more than enough to incinerate them completely. But even still, he looks sad. "You guys cheated... I didn't count on team attacks! Now look, I only got 10 points. Gah." Takes games too seriously, maybe? |

| Ashra finishes up the remaining few at his end, and rushes back to the main group. He hasn't had a chance to speak yet, but as he does now his voice is deep and strong. Ashra: "Well, Schwa, it's nice to meet you too. Thing is, if we had the time we would have worked individually... But we could not risk any of them entering the forest. There hasn't been any rain here for weeks, and a single strike from a flaming weapon could set the whole works ablaze. Most of the time Nira and I are alone in the defense of these sacred lands, so we are unused to fair competition." He smiles. "But really, it's been a while since I've seen a Psi Warrior in action. If time wasn't so precious right now, I'd be interested in a duel. Now, we're not quite sure where the Dark One is right now, but if Corona leaves the forest he'll lose the memories again. That's something we can't afford." Nira: "Well, Corona has a weak ability to track people with soul fusions, like Psi Warriors and our opponent. So when he concentrates," A gesture to Corona, who seems lost in thought, "He can determine where we need to go. I think we'll have around two hours before he can adapt his defenses to Schwa's... abilities." Corona 'wakes up.' Corona: "I can't believe it... He's right beneath us! There must be a cave in the mountains that leads down below... Well, now we have to find the entrance tunnel. Come on." |

| "Well said..." Schwa says, noticing a tingling feeling surface in his right arm. "Uh... Heh, let... Let me try something." Schwa holds his right arm in the air, which is now a soft, misty purple and smooth like plant matter. "Flow Tracker..." (echo effects) Ether coats his arm, flaring brighter by the second as there's a high-pitched yet soft hum in the air. Schwa's mind fills with a map of anything nature-based within a quickly-growing radius... He attempts to locate anything shaped like an underground network and lock on to it's X Y and Z location. But he's not sure if he'll find it... As Schwa concentrates and his mind clearly displays the map of the land, he feels highly in tune with the forest spirits, and a familiar character... Pingo... but it's impossible for him to describe in words. |

| Nira screams. She drops to the ground, and holds her head with her hands. She's whimpering... Ashra immediately rushes towards Schwa, and draws a symbol in the air... Ashra: "Ensaitan: Curse of Laughter!" The intended, immediate effect of this is to cause the target, in this case Schwa, to burst into rabid, uncontrollable laughter. It's impossible to keep control of any kind of ability that doesn't work on its own while the curse is in effect, which is only a few seconds. It's just about the absolute fastest way to stop anyone from doing what they're doing. However, before this curse is activated, Schwa is able to tell that there are no natural (water-eroded) caves nearby. Ashra: "Don't try that again. You're hurting her. She IS the forest, and you're going places you weren't meant to go. I respect your power, but you must use it with care. There's too much Psi Energy mixed in with your Ma Pingon ability." |

| What happens to Schwa is obvious, yet painful for me (Hunter) to write about, so I'll let any readers decipher for themselves... Schwa gets up after the curse wears off, his face beet-red. "I apologize for that, then... but THAT wasn't right. You stole ALL of my dignity from me in those moments." He flicks a forceful sphere of ether in Ashra's direction hostily, the equivelent of a push. "Don't do that again. I didn't know." He storms off in a random direction, his hands suddenly flaring with red fire. "SENSAE!!" he telepathically screams. "Oh man, that was funny to watch. You should've been on guard!" He stops walking 50 feet away and kneels in agony, still in his telepathic conversation with Sensae. "How could you let that happen? You SAW that, and you just stood by and laughed as I made a fool of myself at the mercy of that Sorcerer!" Unintentionally he speaks 'Sorcerer' out loud, which is easily in earshot of Ashra. This could make for some controversy. |

| Ashra: "Would YOU bother to think of dignity if the life of the one you loved was in danger? If you had continued for more then a few instants, she would have died, absorbed into the Psi Energy. I'm not going to touch the sorcerer comment, because if you're THAT stu-" Nira: "Stop it. He didn't know, and you didn't know the most likely outcome of using that curse on a Psi Warrior. And I'm stronger in spirit than you think. I couldn't have died easily from such an accident. And you, Schwa. It's easy to tell he didn't mean to insult you so badly.
