I think this is one of the most disgusting things I've ever cleaned in my home so far. It's one of four washtubs that went unused for over a year and a half tucked behind some things in my basement. Now it has lots of hair and other uh strange things. |

The most disgusting thing I've ever had to clean at home would be our fridge. To begin, all the food needs to be taken out. It isn't very nice to be doing that and suddenly come across something moldy and putrid. I find cheese to be the worst for that, but other things are subject to it as well, such as leftover spaghetti sauce, gravy, and other such things. After that, all the shelves need to be removed. Easy enough, if it wasn't for all the sticky stuff, like juice, that dries onto them. Once they're all removed, you actually need to clean out the inside of the fridge. One time in the past, there was actually a couple centimetres of dried milk or something in the bottom, that took quite a while to scrape out. Other common things to find while doing that are the tabs that keep bags of milk closed, grapes or other small fruit, flakes of onion skin, and so on. All that remains to be done after that is to clean the shelves, and put everything back in the fridge. That doesn't even cover what the freezer is like though Most of the time the fridge gets cleaned, the floor in front of it does as well, and it doesn't take long for liquids to dry and stick to the floor. That's actually about the only really disgusting thing I've ever had to clean. Lesser things would include our cats' litter boxes, underneath my bed, the kitchen floor, and so on. The fridge is by far the worst though |

I usually keep the fridge fairly well cleaned out. The only thing I've seen scarier than these washbuckets was when I was cleaning the bathrooms after my cousins came to visit for a week and a half.

You people are all a bunch of wusses. I was raised in a family of animal lovers. I can (and do) clean up dog poop and cat vomit on a daily basis. HUMAN waste, however, is a completely different story. |

I don't think I've cleaned anything disgusting in our house, since it's only 15 years old, but earlier this summer, I had to remove lots of wild plants and such outside our house. I had to use a showel to dig them up, and everytime I removed something big, bugs and flies came out from everywhere. Ugh! The worst place I've ever cleaned, however, has to be the backroom at one of the supermarkets (Ica) in the city. The room wasn't cleaned for ages, and my friend and I got the task. We had to wash the floors and the walls, but before we could do that, we had to remove thousands of half-empty beer cans in the corner of the room. We looked at the dates just for fun, and found out that they were over ten years old. There were a lot of bugs and flies inside them, and the smell was so awful that we nearly collapsed. I'll never ever clean such a room again. |

The bathrooms. Ugh. But thankfully, I haven't had to do that in a while. After that, I'd say the kitchen floor. Everyone walks in with dirty shoes, my dog with dirty paws spilling her water bowl everywhere, food being dropped, ect. I guess it's not too bad though. |

We recently moved. My dog decided that the idea of being housetrained only applies to our old house. Ugh. In fact today I had to clean up three separate craps and a huge pee puddle, as if he went multiple times in the same place. This happened yesterday to a lesser extent.. I'm worried it's going to be a new hobby of mine, clean up after the stupid dog every day. When I moved out of this apartment of mine around five yeras ago, there were so many gross things found in my room. All of the rooms really, it was a gross place. I just remember all sorts of bugs appearing and freaking out over it. But I didn't have to clean any bugs, so I guess that does not count. |

I don't clean the house, but my mom once (while cleaning my room with a friend who is a professional organizer) found a year-old pop tart in the depths of my closet, with all these cockroaches. Seriously, the grossest place to clean in the house is probably around the computer or under the beds. There are all these different colored spots, trash, and tidbits of games and game pieces that were never cleaned up around my computer. There are many dust bunnies, bugs, and unidentifiable things under the beds in this house. Thankfully I never have to clean it, since I'm always at school and my mom does that!

Meh, the grossest thing in our house is the fridge. Which I try to keep tidy. The bathroom needed help last time I cleaned it too, but it's good now. I try not to let things get so gross that they disgust me. |

Probably the bathroom... but I'd also say under my bed as well. The computer manages to attract a lot of dust and I end up going under the bed with the SWIFFER~ and coming out with 3 or 4 dust bunnies.

Hmm... under my bed would be pretty dusty I'd imagine, I dunno, I tend to ignore it. I'm frequently amazed at how much dust my work desk seems to accumlate, and how quickly it does it. I find myself cleaning this desk frequently, as it all shows against the white of my desk... Generally there are a few things that I won't touch though as far as cleaning. Something about wet paper really really grosses me out. It makes me gag. So other people generally have to clean that for me, people less likely to throw up.... |

Whenever I ignore my bed, the Swiffer gets loaded with dirt. It's absolutely disgusting... dirt and hair and who knows what. ...Wet paper? |

I keep most of my house pretty clean, I'm kindof a germaphobic... The scariest thing I've cleaned was my showerdrain. When it clogs up with hair and god knows what, it's not so pleasent to pull up, more less smell. It reminds me of a part on "the Ring" with the well and Samora's dead body. |

Yesterday I had to hook up my VCR to watch a movie. That's when I found out that my cat loves to barf behind the TV. Shower drains and litterboxes aren't pleasant either. (edited by HyperHacker on 09-08-05 01:26 AM) |
