| I was doing what I normally do when I'm bored, that being reading the threads in the trash can. After a while I began to notice something. Alot of n00bish members get flamed and warned about their typing and told to correct it. I then noticed that instead of correcting their impossible to read posts they lash out and cry like a baby. So then I thought.... A word filter for the board might be a cool idea. You know like in Microsoft word. Have the filter search for things like "k" and replace them with "ok", "idk" with "I don't know" and so on. I think it would be good idea. What do you think? |

| Not a bad idea, but some people type like that for a reason. Either because they want the attention, they're here to be dickwads, or it's a sarcastic/joking thing. It would help for those members here that talk that way out of habit, thus making their posts stupefied and difficult to read. But if it's already been brought up and shot down.. then that's that. |

| I think this is a bad idea. This just sounds like a way to encourage lazy people, making them have nice looking posts... Why not have a script making it so uppercased letters appear everywhere it's needed etc while we're there ? The way people type is one of the things that make you learn to know them... It shouldn't be messed with. It would be lame to have posts like "omg wtf" turning into "Oh my god, what the fuck?"... ¬_¬ |
