I'm doing kinda bad in my favorite class! PC repair! (even though we hardly repaired a PC yet) I need to know what the thing that you put disks in is. I know part of the name for it... It starts with "TOWER". Tower something. What's it called!? If I have more questions, I'll turn to this thread. Thanks in advance! |

Uh.... you've lost me here. A thing you put disks in called "tower" ? You put disks in a CD-ROM drive, or a CD-RW drive, or a DVD-ROM drive, or a DVD-RW drive.... or a floppy disk drive.... or a Zip drive... or an LS120 drive.... *is running out of things you can put disks into on computers* A case can be called a Tower, depending on the size of the case.... |

I think the 'tower' you're referring to is the console (or whatever you know it as) that holds the motherboard. | |||

Originally posted by Stinkoman 20X6 It could be, yes. Cases come in all kinds of different sizes, a Tower Case is a big one, then there's midi-tower cases which are smaller, and Desktop Cases and such... Yes, technically a disk could go into a Tower... pretty much everything goes into the tower (Motherboard, CPU, RAM, Hard Drives, CD-Drives, etc)... |

"Tower case" is like saying "Automobile car." It's redundant. It's a tower or a case. There are different sizes as Taryn pointed out (ATX, mATX, uATX, etc); but a tower is the same as a case. Disks go into drives. It sounds like you're going to have some trouble with this class already, in probably the first week of it |

ok, intead of making constant threads, I'm just going to post this right here. A= sum +1 Whats this? I know it has something to do with a flowchart, but what program is it? It's like 10A + B = C Or something. In short, What is Mr. Enoch talking about when he says A = sum + 1 and stuff like this? |
