I was wondering why you said gas when it is fully electric? I got confused thinking if I was missing something like electric cars needing gas. They just need charging not gas necessarily.

They need gas too, for starting up and stuff that requires more from the car. I think it's anything below 20 mph = running on gas, above that = electric. Otherwise it wouldn't last very long.
But that might have only been for one car, not a general statistic. So who knows.

Ooh okay. I never heard about the gas part and them running that way. I thought it purely ran on electricty by charging it. Sometimes at the mall I see parking spots for eletric cars only.

We currently pay around 13.60kr/liter ($2.15/liter, $8.14/gallon) for our gas, I think. It's the most expensive gas in all of the country, because of an extra tax imposed by the local city hall. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the most expensive gas in the world, actually, since it's the most expensive gas in one of the most expensive countries in the world, but, heck, you never know.

What, do they have electrical outlets or are they just reserved like handicap spots?

Yeah, they're reserved kind of like that. I think some of them are handicaped . They have a spot like that at the lightrail station. I don't know anyone in my area with that type of car.

Wow, I never knew that in the USA you have cheap and low grade gasoline?
Here we only have lead free 95 and 98, and diesel. The litre goes since last week for about CHF 2.- (about USD 1.63)

how many litres is a galleon anyway?

And may now, SBB Cargo's gonna write black numbers.
In Switzerland, the infrastrucutre to deliver all goods in about 90% by train, is aviable.

But then again, smokes are cheap. CHF 5.80 (USD 4.72) for a pack (20 cigarettes)
