My car = good gas mileage

The lightrail goes straight to my schools campus..YAY and the lightrail station is about 10 minutes or a little under that from my house. YAY for lightrail..and it's free for me XD

Here the gas is around $2.60 (going up) also for Unleaded regular too. It's weird how in the poorer parts of town is where the gas goes up..well here it does

This again? The gas prices has been high for several weeks if not months.

I´m not paying our gas so why should I care?

I don't pay for my gas either and this guy gave me 50 bucks and some is supposed to be for gas but uh..yeah..I dont want to waste it all on me so I think I should give some back to him . My dad pays for my gas but when I go out of my way for friends or something I tell her I have no gas and the guy says he'll give me gas money..simple.

My car gets great gas milage too. 28 mpg on average... I'm happy. Plus, I don't have to drive around that often yet. So it's not that bad. But once I start working and drive more.. I'm gonna be complaining much more I'm sure.

Gas just broke 2 bucks here this year and unleaded pushed 2.77 just the other day.

I can see why the US complains.

That´s even worse than in sweden. The gas price is like $1.4 and that´s expensive for being sweden.

Good that I have so bad sight that I´m not allowed to drive a car.

I have a feeling we're better off. You're probably thinking per liter. Ours is per gallon.

I'm spending about $20 almost every week and a half now, heck, even in just a week.

It makes me mad when my friends tell me "My parents pay for gas", ugh.

Yeah, my school is about a 15 minute drive, so to there and back that's 30 minutes a day, and then I have to drive up to work sometimes, which is about 10 minutes away.

Sure, that's not a lot, but when that's everyday, that adds up quickly, and my gas meter drops.

Society is so dependant on gas that we will pay almost anything to get it. Its like legalized cocaine or something. Anyways, if we somehow managed to take out the huge oil industries (and cause another great depression), we could then find out how to use water with cars! Vroom, vroom! 5 cents a gallon!

Hopefully, new technology will allow the use of hydrogen feul cells in cars very soon. They exist now, but are currently more expensive than gas, so it'd be pointless to use. Still, there will be a day when we all use those.

Hydrogen fuel cells?

I'd imagine those are hella combustable. One of those explode, guarantee it'll make a nice boom.

The movie industry'd love that.

Up here in canada it's msotly government price fixing, every time the price goes up 1 cent/liter, they make an additional $32 million a year. That, and almost half of the price is from taxation.

First of all, its less expensive that fuel, its come from water electrolise, plus, its cause no polution and the hydrogen combustion can create plasma wich got a really high energy potential, I think the only reason they don't use them its because car continue to provide money and gas too, so when they will lack of money, they will released them, but personnaly, make them yourself, just modify the gas entrance to include a electrolyse machine and replace oil by water
Note:Why Greenpeace not force them to released them insted than close industry?

It'd be kinda cool to have those hydrogen fuel cars. The no polution is the best part. Closing the gas industry, is that what you're saying? Well I don't think anyone could afford those type of cars right away. It would be better for us to stop depleeting the ozone layer..

Price of a electrolyse machine:About 130$
Price of gasoline economised:Unlimited

Well, I remember hearing that in some way, some how, it is currently more economical to use gasoline, wether it be that more money is put into the fuel cells than is recieved, or more energy, or whatever.

water more expensive than gas?????? did you know what are you talking about ?
even salted water work for hydrogen extraction (called electrolyse) and If you got trouble finding salted water, ask a doctor

You fool! It doesn't matter how abundant hydrogen is! The extraction process completely destroys the purpose of hydrogen fuel cells, as it pollutes too much! If it were to pollute less, more money would need to be spent, making it even more expensive than internal combustion engines. With our technology as it is, it is better to use fossil fuels. However, as technology improves, fuel cells will be better.

And I'd rather ask a hydrologist about water, thank you.
