I don't fully get the hole thing myself... but if someone is ranked the same as you but with a different level it means that they either have posted a bit more then you or less.... did that make any sence |

| Basically whenever you make a post its added to a count nect to your name back on the server, I think. The idea is that at a certain number of posts you recieve a rank which is named by characters from The Mario Series starting at newcomer, then micro-goomba and so on. If you have non-poter that means you haven't made any posts. As with the levels they are worked out by experience which is calculated by both post number and the amount of time you have been registered on the board. So someone with the same level as you may have a lower rank because they have been here longer than you but have not posted as much. I hope that makes a bit more sense now. |

| Yeah, it's your total post count. Click Ranks in that link bar at the top of the page to see them... you can only see the ones you're above or people are on, though. This information is also in the FAQ, which is also something you should read. |
