Well for the last 2 weeks I have been teaching myself C++ like crazy and have basically finished learning all the simple n00b stuff. I would like to move on to the next level. does anybody know any good books or tutorial sites where I can advance (p.s. I'm looking to try to learn as much as possible about windows programming.)

it would be helpful to know what you have learned... but I guess what you may not have learned is the C++ specific things related to Object Oriented Programming such as friends and virtual functions.

Here's a list of very, very good C++ books. Seriously, each and every of these books is awesome and in my opinion a must-read for all serious C++ developers. I've taken the liberty to order them from easiest to toughest (somehow, at least). Look them up on Amazon and ask if you have any questions.

Herb Sutter, Andrei Alexandrescu | C++ Coding Standards | Addison-Wesley
Nicolai M. Josuttis | The C++ Standard Library - A tutorial and reference | Addison-Wesley
Scott Meyers | Effective C++ | Addison-Wesley
Scott Meyers | More Effective C++ | Addison-Wesley
Scott Meyers | Effective STL | Addison-Wesley
Stephen C. Dewhurst | C++ Gotchas | Addison-Wesley
Herb Sutter | Exceptional C++ | Addison-Wesley
Herb Sutter | More Exceptional C++ | Addison-Wesley
Herb Sutter | Exceptional C++ Style | Addison-Wesley
Nicolai M. Josuttis, David Vandevoorde | C++ Templates - The complete guide | Addison-Wesley
David Abrahams | C++ Template Metaprogramming | Addison-Wesley
Andrei Alexandrescu | Modern C++ Design | MIT Press

Also: With 2 weeks of experience you're not yet ready to advance to intermediate levels. In fact you're not anywhere close to understanding intermediate C++ concepts unless you're already a very good developer in another language. I suggest you start at the very top of that list.

You might find a little help downloading other people's codes at www.planetsourcecode.com, this is not spam btw. It helped me learrn VB but I dont use VB anymore. There is not as much C++ support as VB btw, but some people learn better from examples.

ShowMessage('For support goto : ' + Chr(13) + Chr(10) + 'ww.planetsourcecode.com');//love doin that

since it appears, in my option, that your list is basically every feature of C++, the only thing left is applications of C++ such as in doing 3D graphics, GUI, COM programming, etc...
