| The Peacekeepers of the Universe, the DiEn, keep records of every single mission performed by a DiEn member throughout history. Normally, these records are public domain to those who can acess them. However, for several millenia, there was one mission that was kept classified due to the extremely sensitive material involved. The files have recently been released for the first time. The following is an account of the enclosed events. ---------------------------------------------------- DiEn agents Jarukoth, Leann Caldwell, and Shino Shadefoot have been summoned to the DiEn headquarters in Purgatory, to discuss a situation. They are currently situated in briefing room 11, waiting... Leann: "Did anyone hear what this is about?" Jarukoth: "Hey, I'm a warrior, not an Intel guy." Shino: "Well, I....nah." Jarukoth: "Mmm? What?" Shino: "Well, I've been hearing that a lot more D-Leaks (Dimensional Leaks) have been occurring. It's just a rumor, though, as far as I know." A DiEn officer rushes into the room, throws a packet of information, and quickly runs out. The three look at the packet, confused. Leann: ...Ok, I'll open it... Leann opens the packet, and quickly reads the memo. It's unusually short for something of such a supposedly large priority. The memo reads as follows  /i]---------------- Attention DiEn Agents #02466, #46992, and #10985 (Team #183): "Severe leak in dimensional barrier. Gates are opening in all the realities, bringing all sorts of beings into other worlds. Most agents will be dispatched into various worlds to enforce what they can." "Your team will be dispatched to gather information and intel. Current reports suggest that a certain being may be causing these sudden events. Each member will be sent to different worlds, and will carry out thier mission from there. Good Luck to All." P.S.: "Citizens of the various worlds will no doubt be feeling the effects, and be encountering characters not from thier worlds. Handle these situations with great care." ---------------- Jarukoth: "Ok, let's get to work..." ---- [OOC: The idea of this story is Kingdom Hearts in nature. Different alternate realities are leaking into other ones. (Check my Bio for examples. That kind of thing is happening, but on a much bigger scale.) You'll understand the concept more as the story goes on... To introduce your character, you can either have him stumble into purgatory and meet the party, or you can encounter strange events in your world, and the party will find you in your world.] |

| A deminsion hole apeared under Dari as she was walking. Before she knew what happend she fell in "What's going on!" the other side of the deminsion hole was somewhere in Purgatory "How did I get here, and what is going on." Not taking anytime Dari grabbed her Raipier, and was waiting for anything. sudenly her pet Wyvern fell from another hole and near Dari. |

Jarukoth: "Good to see your'e not blind behind those glasses..." Shino just shrugs. Leann runs over to help her up. Leann: "Hi. I'm Leann. What's your name?", she asks warmly. |

[It's been a while since I've been involved in a story, but I can't wait to get back into it  .]Clad fully in heavy steel armor, a green-eyed man strolled along a serene wooded path. A chain coif covered his head, but the odd lock of chestnut hair fell to his forehead and was tossed about by a refreshing northeasterly zephyr. Bouncing against his pack was an unnoteworthy helm. From his leather belt hung several closed pouches, and a naked steel shortsword was at his left hip. This armored fellow carried an imposing halberd in his right hand. He used it as a walking stick. Sighing contentedly, the fighter quietly reveled in the sylvan paradise. He had a special affinity for the pristine wilds surrounding his residence, and he made frequent excursions along the now well-worn path. Still, he was not so naive as to think the environment entirely harmless; it was his large polearm and sparkling armor that granted him the necessarily imposing stature to ward off potential predators. The modest zephyr rose to a stiff autumn breeze, eventually growing to the point that the traveler struggled against it. His lighthearted tussle with the wind halted abruptly when the swirling air currents spun into a visible entity. They whipped around in a circular pattern, the center of which took on the appearance of dark, booming, rain-swelled clouds. From within the disc came some manner of metallic sound, completely unfamiliar to the man. He'd already cast off his pack and assumed a fighting posture when a man-and-a-half-sized robot lept through at him. Having never seen such a beast, the warrior was unsure of his options. He danced and dodged as best he could in his armor (though such a technique was never his forte, so encumbered or not). When it was quite clear that the monster had no intentions of parlay, the polearmsman sprung to action. Grabbing hold of the extreme end of his weapon's wooden shaft, the fighter swung it about and built its momentum quickly. He struck with the halberd's full force, landing a direct hit on the robot's overturned bucket of a head. It made no cut, of course, but the bludgeoning power of the heavy steel axehead made a sizable dent and sent the monster to the ground. The weapon's point was immediately driven into a hole in the robot's metal casing, and it ceased its efforts to rise. Puzzling over the creature's species, the fighter retook his pack and then paced 'round his opponent. In doing so, he drew too near the still-raging portal. He was sucked cleanly through, and instantly fell roughly to the ground behind a dark-spectacled halfling. |

| "C'mon, work, work..." Troy twisted the key again, causing the small go-kart to let out a soft rumble. But, it quickly died yet again. He climbed out of it grumbling, turning only to give the light cherry-red frame of the vehicle a swift kick. One would think that he would be paying more attention to the axe-wielding barbarian that he had nullified with a Paralysis spell, but, well, different strokes for different folks. Never mind that he flew out of a massive space-time distortion, Troy couldn't be late for supper. |

I'm Jarukoth, and this is Leann and Shino. I'm afraid that there has been a bit of a situation. You'll have to stay with us for the time being." Leann: "What about the girl?" Jarukoth: "Theyre's no place to take them now. The way things are going, they are better off staying with us until we get this mess sorted out." "Now check for a quick second. Situation: (unknow) Cause: An evil version of the Ex Comet has appeared in the Possibility. It is not know if the Ex Comet is behind the current anomalies in the Possibility, but it is a possibility. All agents that have been sent have failed to come back with their avatars in one piece. -Shutdown all programs ... ... _______________________________________________ Zerodius: "I've had enough! I'll check what's going on in this world myself!" Zerodius activated his interdimensional teleport device... Inside of the Purgatory appeared some kind of humanoid in a black high-tech armor that was a mix between Samus's armor (from the Metroid games) and Masterchief's armor (from Halo). Zerodius: "OK... where am I..." During this time... ========================================== A Dark Force was laughing as a portal opened in front of it... Dark Force: "At long last... I am free... these fools had tought they could seal me forever in this little place... but no one can seal me... as I cannot be sealed. I am the incarnation of everyone's hatred, sorrow, and fear... I am the bringer of death, destruction, and despair..." The Dark Force became visible, revealing to everyone it's (rather horrifying) identity. The Dark Force was a gigantic comet made of souls... Ex Comet: "The mortals and immortals... these pathetic creatures... so simple... so naive... so weak... but even such weaklings shall be forced to admit the truth... there is no such thing as Good. All that exist is the power of Evil and people are either too weak to wield it or strong enough to wield it..." The comet laughed... it's voice was deep, cold, and cruel... Ex Comet: "These naive people believe that the strong lives to protect the weak... but it is not the case. The weak only lives to feed the strong... and the strong lives to lead the weak. The people shall understand this simple truth... or I shall consume them! All of them!" The comet began to emmitt extremely strong waves. It wanted the entire Universe to hear it's speech! Ex Comet: "People of the Universe! Your time has come! The time for judgement is now! Now... a force shall consume this Universe and restore it to the way it was before Life and to the way it should have always remained... Prepare yourselves mortals and immortals alike! The force know as "Evil" shall purify this world!" The comet entered the portal... |

As for your first question... the boundaries are falling apart becease that something, or someone, is using it's powers to compress this Possibility into a single dimension. I suspect that the Comet of Fallen Souls is behind this becease that... face it... who else would be powerful enough to do this? Even I couldn't compress an entire Possibility! Anyway... heading into random dimensions will do no good. We should try to locate the source of the compression or, at least, go to where it all started. There, we will have far better chances of getting clues on why it is happening." |
