Do you like/hate your neighbors? Me, I got some reasons. My answer is on the bottom of this post.

1. They steal the newspaper off my front lawn because they can't afford a subscription, it's only $12 for a years subscription for the newspaper!!!

2. Their annoying music. Since I live around the border, I hear a lot of spanish music. No offense to people who like this, I can stand this music if it's in the same room but over a 1 mile radius, no. They does this overnight, even on schoolnights which makes the morning after just awful for me.

3. Their annoying kids running around in the streets. Seriously, one day when I learn to drive I may accidently run over one of them and I better not be the one getting sued for that. Plus their kids somehow own dirtbikes, 6 or 7 kids in the family and they all own dirtbikes. Don't ask me how they afford that but my guess is that their family gets a huge welfare check. Their parents don't work though.

Despite the reasons that I mentioned, I can somehow tolerate them after almost 16 years I've been with them so I vote for I'm not very fond of them. Sorry if I offended you, but here's my list. So do you even like them or even have neighbors?

We pretty much ignore our neighbors. They're not bad people or anything, we just aren't a social community.
My old neighbor, I hated. She was behind us, so she could look over the fence and talk to us and crap. She used to tell me what to do and not to do when I was minding my own business. When I was trying to get a toy out of MY tree, she told me to stop because there was a bird's nest up there. I got ticked, told my dad, they had a fight, and that began her bitch parade.
We have a dog, and she decided to constantly complain about him. She claimed he squeezed into this small hole in her fence and went in her yard, so we better fix up her fence or she'll do something about our dog. Which he couldn't have possibly done. Now I'm not just saying this because he's my dog and I'm twisting the facts, it was OBVIOUS. The hole was tiny and he's a muscular pitbull. I should've taken a picture or something. It just wasn't possible. We also checked his body anyway, because if he got through that jagged hole, he would've been scratched up. Nothing unusual. He has thin fur so nothing could've been hidden.
She cut down this huge bush thing that went over the fence, so she could easily look into our yard. She had a two story place. We bought a GO AWAY mat and a large umbrella JUST for that bitch, it ticked us off so much.
Then she came to our house and threatened to have something done to our pitbull if we don't control him. She actually said that. She said he barks way too damn much and she went to our neighbors, and everyone agrees that he's causing a problem. My dad hit the ceiling and got in a fight with her. Then he went to our neighbors. They said they've RARELY heard our dog bark, and it was only during the day. Which is true, he's well behaved. Our next door neighbor, I'm not even kidding, said, "You have a dog?". wtf. bitch. Then my dad explained the situation and our neighbor said we should brush off that bitch, there's one like her in every neighborhood. Ever since my dad yelled at her, she never spoke to us again. He can be a scary guy.
Anyway she finally left, thank god.
Hate.

When I lived in apartment, I was surrounded by bad neighbors. Complete assholes. I'll be living in an apartment again pretty soon, and I really don't like how our neighbors look now. Hopefully they'll leave us alone.

I have great great neighbors, for the most part. All the houses on my street in vicinity to me are full of great people, I like them all. Unfortunately, my next door neighbor will change soon.. which really really sucks for many reasons. I hope they are good people too.

I have got an annoying neighbour. He's not evil or anything, but he's so curious and wants to know everything that's going on. He's also retired, which appearently makes him bored and therefore, even more curious. Three or four times a day, he takes a trip on his bike around the town. He seems to have a schedule or something to know when to take those trips. I'm not joking, but you can set your clock with pretty good (a few minutes) accuracy just by watching him leave. Also, his wardrobe seems to be empty. Some days, he've got a yellow shirt and blue pants. Some days, he have got a blue shirt and yellow pants. Some days, he combines the two. Blue shirt and blue pants / Yellow shirt and yellow pants. If it rains, it doesn't stop him from taking the bike downtown. Therefore, he looks like a tent on wheels those days.

He's always trying to talk to someone whenever it's possible, just to try to find out if something's going on. Sometimes, he fixes some extememly unimportant things with his bike and makes it super slow, just so he can start talking with anyone who walks by. The same thing with his car (which he only uses on sundays). After driving it into his garage, he takes out a small napkin and wipes off some dust, hoping that someone else will come so that he can have a look if they bought something or get a conversation. When he heard that someone was moving in to the neighbourhood, he found out the person's name and looked it up in the phonebook, just so he could see what he worked with.

My mom was in the neighbourhood's committee for a while, and our dear neighbour knew this. Therefore, he tried to "pump" out information from her (and even from my dad as well, even though he didn't have anything to do with it). Whenever he saw in the newspaper that someone in the neighbourhood was selling their house, he askes my mom and dad if they knew who the seller was, and if he or she had finacial problems and didn't pay his/her bills.

A few years ago, sweden's minister of forheign affairs, Anna Lindh, was stabbed down in a clothing shop. During the following night, she died. Therefore, our neighbourhood only had our flag raised to half of the pole to honor her. And still, our neighbour couldn't resist asking my dad if anyone in the neighbourhood had died, even though he knew that Anna Lindh had been murded.

Dear mr. neighbour. Die.

95% of the time it is great.

When my gay friends come over. I generally want to shoot the gay friends and my old, bigoted neighbours. Generally because the gay friends don't listen when I say "look, no...NO kissing or holding hands. My neighbour is the wife of a Presbyterian minister (god rest his soul) and she is none-to-kind to the gay community" *kiss, kiss, kiss*

One week later: "Zach, I wanted to phone the police...But I wasn't sure if you were trying to get them off your property or not"
"No Elenor. They're just dumb-ass friends"

Oh, and the no kissing policy applies to all of my friends. I don't want that shit happening around my house. They don't dig me praying the rosary at their houses when I go to hang out, I don't quite dig it when couples are eating each others faces.

I don't even know any of my (current) neighbours, nor do I care about them. Well, except for this old man that has his front door against our veranda. Sometimes we exchange a few words. He lost his wife due to cancer just a couple of years ago.

We've moved about 10 times in my life, so it's not like I remember any neighbors specifically.

Our new neighbors are older people, obsessed with their yard. That's about it, I think it could be ME, who they hate.

Where's the "I've never even met them" option? This isn't really a social town, and its total IQ is maybe 4 digits with a 5-digit population, so ehhh...

It's more cleanup if nothing else when they get old. Nothing more to it than that.

I want to kill them. Those bastards (young'ns) decided to throw cold water on me when I was horribly sunburned.

Extreme pain followed.

One of our neighbours is a family with 11 children. It's a nice family, but... Noise all the day. On the other side of the house, there lives an old man... I don't really like him, because if I'm cutting the grass near his fence or something, he always screams "hey, be careful with the fence! I had to pay a lot of money for it!"...

Don't know any of the neighbors in this dorm. My roommates are pretty cool-- I mean, they put up with me.

Hopefully we get some kick ass neighbors when I move into my apartment in the fall.
