| The Dark Ponita didn't bother even trying to avoid the incoming attack. BAAAAAM!!! Direct hit! Judging from how much the ground shaked, this Magnitude turned out to be level 6! Not too strong but not quite weak either... and since Dark Ponita turned out to be weak against such a move, it instantly snapped all four of her legs and sent her stumbling straight into a wall!... but she was still alive. Not even sensing any pain, pure hatred consumed her heart. Dark Ponita: "My body... may be broken... but I will bring you down with me!" Dark Ponita burts into flames! The large purple flames seemed almost alive, lashing toward Janus like long, demonic snakes of pure dark power... Dark Charmander took the opportunity to try and run away... but the Magnitude, altought it didn't hit him, still caused him to lost his balance... and he could barely stumble out of his hiding place that he tripped and fell down! Terrorised at the idea of being spotted and killed, the Pokemon begun to cry loudly. Dark Charmander: "WHY?!? WHY?!? I'M SCARED!" ... During this time... ... As Kalar made it out of the area where the Shadow Pokemon were fighting with Janus, he heard a voice... | OOC: Once Janus is finished clearing up this wave, I'll take control of Kalar. He's my next character to be used. Janus: "Easy." He slammed his hammer into the ground, and up came a giant slab of earth, which he took cover behind as the flames spread outward and past him. When the fires died down, Janus' eyes took to the Dark Charmander that was sobbing for its life on the ground... He almost felt pity for it, and was about to crush its skull, when he remembered something... Janus dashed toward the Charmander, and swung at its head with his hammer, faking the blow out at the last second! "False Swipe!!!" Janus rushed past the Pokemon, his hammer outstretched in another bushido-like followthrough. He paused for a moment, lowered his hammer, placed his hand inside of Satchel, and drew out a small, green and red ball. A Great Ball...? A copy of it, at least. "Don't worry... You won't have anything to be afraid of soon enough!" He hurled the Great Ball at the Charmander, and drew out an exact copy of it from his bag again, chucking that at the Charmander in case it tried something funny... | Dark Charmander's eyes widened as the hammer closed in... Dark Charmander closed his eyes... and whispered to himself... Dark Charmander: "I remainded in the Darkness for all my life... and now... I... I'm... I'll become one with it..." SLAAAAM!!! The crushing blow came... but altought Dark Charmander was drained of his physical strenght, his skull did not cave in, plunging him into the cold, dreamless sleep. Unstead, he stood there, barely alive but still awake... and then, his foe hurled a ball at him... he saw the Great Ball approach and then, time seemed to slow down to a crawl... and he whispered as he realised what his fate truly was... and his heart was filled with intense fear. He had feared that he would die... but he was now hoping for death... for to be captured and forever enslaved was, to his eyes, a fate much, much worse than death... Dark Charmander: "No... anything... but becoming a human's tool..." His courage crushed, his will broken, the Charmander didn't had the strenght left to struggle and turned into a cloud of black ooze with red energy swirling inside... Both the transformed Charmander and it's black aura were trapped within the green ball... but after each time it wobbled around, the ball turned darker... and once it finished wobbled and that a familiar sound was heard, showing that the Charmander was caught, the green ball had almost turned completely black and had almost completely rusted becease of the Dark Power's corrosive effects... ... but at least, Dark Charmander was now out of commission. ... During this time... ... The mysterious and strange villain tapped his fingers against his throne, annoyed. ???: "It didn't really went according to plan... but well, that was to espect. It is a know fact that heroes ALWAYS beat up the first wave of minions villains throw at them!... but unlike regular villains, who usually see their plans being foiled in the end... I am a MYSTERIOUS AND STRANGE villain! Becease I'm mysterious and really strange, my totally mysterious and completely strange plans will not fail! VICTORY WILL BE MINE! HAHAHA!... err... I should really laugh on my evil laugh... it sounded rather lame... but well, I'm not an evil-laughing villain! I am a mysterious and strange villain! and mysterious! and strange!" | Janus picked up the blackened ball... Janus: "I'll free you when I can... You won't be a tool anymore." There was a melancholy tone to his voice as he gingerly placed the ball in the front pocket of his bag. When this was over, Janus intended fully on trying to help the creature. Who knew? Maybe it'd make a formidable ally someday. ----------------- Kalar heard the voice from the rubble. He wasn't sure what it was, but if it was a survivor, he had to save it! Man, woman, child, animal, vegetable (well, maybe not a vegetable) or mineral (no, I guess not that either), Kalar'd be there! He leapt high into the air and over the wreckage of several tourist attractions, and closed in on the stall... |

| OFF: Well... he's caught. That's it. The black ball is simply the sign that the ball had almost been destroyed by Dark Charmander's Shadow power... but since he was weak and since it was a Great Ball unstead of a regular Pokeball, the ball held strong. ... and now, I believe it is boss fight time... ____________________________________________________________________ ZAAAAAP!!! A strange purple thunderbolt struck the debris and then... purple flames begun to errupt from them! BOOOOM!!! The debris were sent flying everywhere as the creature that was hiding under the souvenir stand rose... It was some kind of black dragon with glowing, red eyes... Dark Charizard: "Heeheehee... I'm actually here, boss! Transfiguration successful! Now that this fool's body has been used to make me appear... I guess I'll show YOU the power of Dark Vortex! Heeheehe! Dark Vortex will rule the world and there's nothing you can do against it... becease we're mysterious and strange... and becease you're not!" The dragon spreaded it's wings, roared, and jumped away from Kalar, standing in a triumphant position like the show-off he is. Dark Charizard: "As for this human whose body I just used... well, I will return him or her to you!... but only if you can defeat me... which you will never be able to, of course! | OOC: What about Arcanine, Rapidash, Charmeleon, and Ninetales? Kalar's eyebrow raised. Somehow, he saw that coming. Kalar: "Well, if it's for an innocent, sure, I guess I can kill you. I mean, do you really want me to?" Kalar tossed his scythe from hand to hand. It was much easier to just throw his opponent off than to engage them directly. This much he knew from his bouts with Janus. But he didn't really want to just go into this empty handed. It was a good thing he had his weapon with him, if he had been caught without it... Oooh, that'd have sucked. "You know, I'm not too keen on killing. I guess if it's a special request, though, I could oblige." |

| OFF: You REALLY want to face 4 bosses at once? Facing four non-evolved Pokemon is one thing... fighting four fully-evolved Pokemon is another thing. But if you REALLY want it... you can face all the fully-evolved Pokemon of each element if you want... but know that it may have a slightly negative effect on your characters' Life Force meter and your level of frustration. ____________________________________________________________________ Dark Charizard grinned maniacally. Dark Charizard: "Actually... you will not walk alive from this fight. You're just a puny human... do you really think you are a match for me, a Shadow Pokemon? What a fool... well... SERVE YOURSELF RIGHT!" Dark Charizard's eyes glowed yellow and he opened his mouth! He roared one last time before breathing a HUGE sphere of fire toward Kalar! The huge red, yellow, and purple flame bubble travelled toward Kalar at breakneck speed, igniting the debris all around it as it soared throught the air. Judging from how the fireball was three times Kalar's size and was flying quite fast... a direct hit would be quite harmful. | OOC: No, I always considered Pokemon with one evolution as mid-levels... Weird, I guess. But they're gonna need to be worked in somehow. I'll let you take it from here. Kalar grinned, and his eyes flashed a bright red. Giant fireball, eh? That'd come in handy... The fireball blew toward him, and Kalar braced himself as it hit... Or did it? The warrior's body melted into an expulsive mass of shadows and screams, wrought from the bright light of the fireball's flaming flight and the dead souls of all of the attack's innocent victims. As it passed by him, he reformed himself back together, scythe in hand and smile on his face. Kalar: "Yeah... I've been doing some training." He closed in on the Charizard with as much speed as he could muster for a warmup. When he was a good few yards away from the dark dragon, Kalar suddenly disappeared in a burst of real speed, and the near-transparent blade of his scythe swung around at the Charizard's neck as he reappeared behind him. The long haft of the scythe, as well as Kalar's hopefully unexpected movements, allowed him to make such a maneuver without threat of the flaming tail or beating wings of the dragon. Kalar landed on the ground beside the Charizard and leapt away as soon as he could, licking his lips in anticipation. Unlike Janus, Kalar was going for blood! |

| OFF: Well... some Pokemon really become a lot more powerful when they evolve while others barely change actually. It all varry on the specie. The physics used in this fight are inspired but are not identical to the games ; can't instant-kill so easily characters and some enemies may have altered stats... But well, as a whole, the elemental system of the games still apply and the types for each enemy is retained (unless specified otherwise) so, elemental attacks that worked in the games will work in this challenge... if your character can land them on the targets, that is. ____________________________________________________________________ Dark Charizard, surprisingly enough, altought shocked by seeing his attack fail... was not shocked seeing Kalar appear to strike him. In fact, he turned around and face Kalar as he struck... Dark Charizard: "So... your powers are kinda similar to Celebi... to the Legendary Pokemon of Death..." SLAAAAASH!!! The blade makes a sharp cut on the Shadow Pokemon's neck and instantly a few drops of blood comes out... but strangely enough, the blood is purple and is corrosive like acid unstead of being regular crimson... The Dark Charizard roared, seemingly not feeling pain... and then, he grasped his neck, put a lot of pressure on it... and the bleeding seemingly stops. Dark Charizard: "How very annoying..." The dark dragon spreaded it's wings and took off, hoping to gain the advantage by going out of range of Kalar's harmful scythe... while still being able to nail the foolish human with a storm of fire attacks! =BRAVE BUT LAME HEROES -Technical Stuff Life Force (9) (IIIIIIIIII) Special: (II) -Party management In use -Kalar- Hidden -Grey-Garro-Janus- =MYSTERIOUS AND STRANGE BAD GUYS. | Kalar, the weapons master, windmilled his scythe from side to side, watching as the flame attacks were diverted, deflected, disrupted by a combination of the wind of his scythe's movements and the collision between the scythe itself and the Charizard's offensive barrage. He took several steps forward, several steps backward, and to each side as he got himself into the best position for a counterattack... Kalar (thinking): 'Steady... wait for it... Patience, I was taught. Patience. Calm, collected, cool. Calm...' He leapt into the air the moment the flames cleared... 'Collected...' As he rose toward the Charizard, he silently thanked Sion for his contribution to Kalar's cause... (speaking): "Cool! Blizzara!!!" The tip of his scythe glowed blue, and he swung it at the Charizard, releasing a basketball-sized blast of cold energy! | As Dark Charizard flied high in the air, he saw the ice blast coming toward him... Dark Charizard: "Ha! Ice is weak to Fire, you moron!" Dark Charizard breathed fire under the form of a large Flamethrower. The stream of flames collided with the Blizzara spell, causing the attack to explode into a storm of ice blades! Dark Charizard was surprised, not especting the ice ball to errupt into ice blades... but the power of his attack was still powerful enough to keep the blades from reaching him... but barely... and thus, the dragon himself exhausted a little bit... Slowly, the dragon flied toward a local skyscraper and landed on top of it. He roared at the human from the top of the building in rage and frustration. Dark Charizard *thinks* What kind of human is that?!? I never heard of humans using such moves... let alone being able to battle! Maybe I should change strategy and try to capture him. | In a very un-human maneuver, Kalar sprung into the air as his weapon changed... The blade elongated, and the haft shortened into a small handle. Suddenly it broke in two as the shaft approached the length of Kalar's elbow. Separating the two halves was a chain made of the same near-immaterial substance that Kalar's blade was made of, so fine that it could pierce the air... A Kusari-Gama! Kalar: "You're..." He threw the blade, while still holding onto the chain. Its length extended, ever further and further, as the blade flew at the Charizard... "....A little too slow!" Kalar was still rising in the air, and hit the side of the building, his blade crashing into it and hooking on. Using it as a semi-holding point, he ran up the building and, once he gained enough momentum to not require an anchor anymore, whipped the blade out of its side. Seconds later, the Charizard would find a rather large, sharp, menacing, and wickedly curved blade flying straight at him as a certain blonde-haired warrior in a tattered black suit came soaring up off the lip of the building's roof. Said warrior then followed up his attack with a roundabout whip of the chain and the blade, attempting to ensnare the wayward Pokemon... |
