| (Only Oxnard Montalvo may join this game) It all begun one day in the lair of a really mysterious and strange villain. and mysterious. and strange. ???: "I shall eventually crush this silly planet... that's becease I'm a really mysterious and strange villain. and mysterious. and strange." The villain stared down for a few more seconds. ???: "It would be easier to send hordes of evil minions to conquer the world rather than try to become a pokeball manufacturing corporate giant. I can't stand pokeballs! Those disgusting things..." The villain pressed a few buttons on his shiny high-tech fancy throne. Computer: "Now, we shall determine randomly which city to invade first... CLACHINK! Done!" A small piece of paper came out of the computer. The villain took it in his right hand... ???: "I should really read this since I'm a mysterious and strange villain. and mysterious. and strange." The villain read what was written on the piece of paper aloud. ???: "If you like pokeballs, why not invading Saffron City first? It's the HQ of Silph Corp. which produces pokeballs..." The villain's face turned red! ???: "WHAT?!? Pokeballs?!? Hate'em! Garbage!" The villain thrown the piece of paper away! ???: "Computer, try randomization process again!" Computer: "CLACHINK!" ???: "Finally!" The villain read aloud what was on this second piece of paper. ???: "If you like golden trophies and shiny stuff, why not invading the Indigo Plateau city? It's just next to the Elite4 HQ and it's where most trophies are made." The villain smiled. ???: "I like shiny and golden stuff becease I'm really mysterious and strange. and mysterious. and strange. As such, I shall conquer Indigo Plateau first! OFF TO INDIGO PLATEAU!" Since he was a mysterious and strange villain. and mysterious. and a strange one at that, he had tought of including systems that made his lair transform into a huge battlecruiser! As such, the villain pressed a few buttons on his fancy high-tech throne and his lair turned into a huge, powerful battlecruiser! Then, the ship made it over Indigo Plateau (with it's cloaking device on, of course!), and then, the mysterious and strange villain decided to attack right now, while the trainers were all busy competing for some stupid worthless trophy that was not golden or shiny. However... while he was mysterious and strange. and very mysterious. and really strange at that, he had not predicted that some people would be left to defend the place.... ???: "What? People are left? Well... I'd figure that I should really eliminate them becease that I am a very mysterious and really strange villain... and a really mysterious and strange one at that! and mysterious! and strange!" |

| OOC: HELL YEAH! Tourists suck. Grey has realized this at this point, and decided to stop being one. Janus, too, has put his camera and beach hat away in favor of his usual attire, and Garro and Kalar never even bothered in the first place. Still, Indigo Plateau was pretty, even though there were all of these Pokemon Trainers around. The only thing Grey had ever done even relating to those were his Politikemon, and Janus had played Red and Silver. Yep, Kanto sure was nice this time of year. Well, except for that large battlecruiser in the sky. It hung there, in exactly the way bricks didn't. Cast a rather lovely shadow over the land, too. Pokemon trainers fled in sheer terror the moment it decloaked, wetting their pants and tripping over their Pokeballs as screams erupted throughout the area on sight of the massive ship. Grey: "I say, that's quite a lovely attraction, when was it built?" Kalar: "Grey, I don't think that's...." Garro: "Sh, let the boy have his fun." Janus: "In the meantime, shouldn't we figure out why there's so many people running away in fear?" Grey: "That moment of idiocy done with, I'd say it's probably due to some strange, mysterious villain that's mysterious and strange wanting to conquer our world." Janus: "Ah, good. I was getting tired of not kicking ass as of late." Grey: "Indeedy! Now let's see what he's got in store..." |

| Suddenly, the battlecruiser fired thingies at our brave heroes... but missed, instead destroying a tourist stand! The mysterious and strange villain wasn't please at all that he missed becease that mysterious and strange villains do not miss their targets usually and he happens to be a mysterious and strange villain. and mysterious. and strange. ???: "My super-duper-scary-canonballs-o-death-with-a-really-long-name missed! I cannot believe this! Time to use my mysterious and strange powers to transform those super-duper-scary-canonballs-o-death-with-a-really-long-name into mysterious and strange minions with really mysterious and strange powers. and mysterious. and strange!" Thus, our mysterious and really, really strange villain used his oh-so mysterious and oh-so strange powers to transform the super-duper-scary-canonballs-o-death-with-a-really-long-name into mysterious and strange minions with really mysterious motives and really strange powers. Thus, a Dark Charmander, a Dark Vulpix, a Dark Growlithe, and a Dark Ponita came out of the rubbles that were once the tourist stand! ???: "Oh no! I created a really mysterious Dark Ponita with strange dark powers! I hate Ponitas! They're so... disgustingly cute! I hope those heroes beat up the Dark Ponita!... or maybe not, becease that they're lame becease that they're not mysterious and strange! and mysterious! and strange!" Thus, while the very mysterious and strange villain was busy with his mysterious and also very strange plans, his less mysterious and strange minions were about to use their mysterious dark powers with strange effects to attack our heroes which are lame becease that they're not mysterious and strange. and mysterious. and strange. Dark Charmander: "Yeah! We're mysterious and strange bad guys!" Dark Vulpix: "And you know what? We're very mysterious at that!" Dark Ponita: "And really strange too!" Dark Charmander: "We would offer you a fine job with a fixed salary, two good months of vacation a year, and lots of other economical advantages but..." Dark Growlithe: "But we only want mysterious and strange people on our side! and mysterious! and strange!" Dark Charmander: "Let us use our mysterious powers to unleash strange attacks!" Dark Growlithe: "And really mysterious and strange ones at that!" | Janus: "What the shit is this?" The four of them stared at the Pokemon... Yeah, it was Indigo Plateau, but that didn't mean that they were supposed to be the ones fighting, did it? Grey: "I think they're supposed to be bad guys." Garro: "Fascinating, I've never heard a Pokemon speak english before..." Grey: "Then you've never watched the Pokemon Anime, have you? Janus, you're up." Janus took Satchel off of his back, and whipped it into its hammer form, brandishing it with a grin. Janus: "Sweet... I've always wanted to do this!" He leapt into the air at the Pokemon, and raised his hammer above his head. When he landed in the middle of the group of four, he swung downward and hit the earth with a loud BANG! The shot released a shockwave of earth similar to a Nidoking making a short hop and performing an attack that just happened to be called... "Earthquake!!!" |

| The bad guys knew they were in trouble upon hearing Janus yelling the attack's name. Dark Charmander: "CRUD! We're weak to earth-based stuff!" Dark Vulpix: "Bah! Just jump over the shockwave..." Dark Charmander: "Hey! I hadn't tought about that!" All enemies exept for Dark Growlithe jumped over the Earthquake attack. Dark Growlithe just barked at the incoming shockwave since he's just a stupid dog who can breath fire and is surrounded by purple swirly stuff. Dark Growlithe yelped as he was struck by the shockwave and sent flying into a tourist stand! Dark Growlithe: "YIPES! YIPES! MY BACK! MY BACK!... huh? YAY!!! Candy!!!" Dark Growlithe found a small candy in the rubbles! | Grey: "Come on, Janus, you can do better than that!" Janus: "You know what, you're right!" The moment he realizes they just jumped over his attack, Janus flourishes his hammer in his hand, and then leaps out of the circle of enemies, trying desperately to get into a better tactical postion than right in the middle of all of his foes. He lands on a patch of grass by an information kiosk, and aims his hammer in a golf-shot at the ground, sending a rather large piece of earth flying at the crew of Dark Pokemon. Hopefully this would be reasonably easy... Most psychotic bad guys tended to bring out their easiest foes first. Janus: "Divot!!!" |

| The enemies attempt to get out of the way of the incoming chunk of flying earth! Dark Vulpix is flattened in a not so very clean way by the flying chunk while Dark Charmander is struck by flying debris. Dark Ponita: "Hahaha! I'm so much faster, stronger, and all than you!" Dark Charmander: "SHUT UP!" The two jumped behind two destroyed tourist stalls, hoping that the stalls would prove to be good cover from the heroes' attacks. During this time, Dark Growlithe popped his head out of the debris, looked around, and noticed the heroes! Dark Growlithe: "Hey! You guys look cold! I'll warm you up!" SWOOOSH! Dark Growlithe shot a beam of fire from his mouth! Dark Growlithe: "OOPS! Sorry... I had tried to use just Ember but I put too much power in it. | OOC: I thought Grey was supposed to be useable once every two waves, not posts? And wasn't it one fighter at a time, meaning Janus is the only one involved right now? Janus: "Pathetic..." Using his superior speed and mobility, Janus leapt into the air and out of the way of the flamethrower as it blew past him. The jet of flames hit a nearby lamppost and melted it to molten scrap... No matter how much power that Growlithe claimed to be using, it looked pretty damn hot to Janus. Grey: "Oi! Watch it there, or we're gonna be the ones getting singed!" Grey, Kalar, and Garro had taken cover behind one of Grey's high-powered psychic shields... As long as Grey had one of those up, he'd be tapped for power in this fight. There was no way he'd be able to keep up a constant battle while still protecting everyone else around him. His best bet was to take it slow and pace himself... He'd be able to fight eventually. Until then, Janus, Kalar, and Garro would have to do. Grey'd concentrate on saving the civilians. "Don't forget, there are innocent people here! Keep that in mind while you're flying around and breaking some poke-necks!" Janus: "Got it!" And Janus was indeed flying around: He had hung in the sky, suspended by the floating might of his hammer. He clambered on top of it, and stared down at the Growlithe that had just attacked him. It looked like he was going to use another Pokemon move, while he had the evasive height advantage... The flame horse jumped behind his hideout and stood there... then, the horse kneeled down, as if preparing to attack... and jumped high in the air, above Janus! Dark Ponita: "HAHAHA! I'll Stomp you flat!" The horse came slamming down, trying to cave in Janus's skull! During this time, Dark Charmander stands there, frowning and not really knowing what to think of all this... | Janus: "No, you won't." He nonchalantly dropped off the edge of his hammer, grabbing it and watching Ponyta sail by. As he fell, he used the hammer to slow his descent and spun around a few times, timing his movements so that he was able to swing upward and deliver a very hard shot to Ponyta's midsection. As a followup, he let himself drop as he hurled the hammer toward the presumably still-airborne fire horse and dropped to the ground. When Janus landed on the ground, crouching and preparing himself to jump out of the way of another Poke-assault, he clenched his right fist, and it began to glow a dark, dimension-door-colored purple... "I'll teach you to disrupt my attacks..." |

| The Ponita is closing in, preparing to crush Janus's head! Dark Ponita: "AAAAAAH! FEAR THE DARK POWER OF THE SHADOW POKEMON!!!... huh?" BAAAAM!!! Dark Ponita got smacked in the mid-section by the hammer and sent flying upward again! Dark Ponita: "GAAAAH!" Janus landed and thrown his hammer back at Dark Ponita! BAAAAM! Dark Ponita: "NOT FAAAAAAIR!" The Dark Ponita was sent flying into a nearby building! BOOOM!!! The fire horse passed right throught the wall! Dark Charmander popped out of his hiding spot. Why don't we stop fighting and take over the world together! I'm sure the Master will like you! I'm sure he'll even make you a high-ranked dude or something!" | Janus sighed. Idiots. "Burnination!!!" He extended his arm toward the Growlithe and Charmander, and out from it came a blast of Void energy, the opposing force to Time energy... Working like gravity, it was designed to apply an amount of pressure similar in style, though NOT in magnitude, of a black hole. Needless to say, it worked a bit like casting Demi on someone. But in a more blast-like manner. Not bothering to waste time looking back at the result of his attack, he grunted softly and a blue light began to glow from his eyes, as he took off at near-psychotic speed to the building where the Ponyta had crashed into. The last thing he needed right now was for any innocents to get hurt. Satchel sailed through the air as Janus leapt upward to catch it on its return, and used it to fly up to the area of the building that the Ponyta had soared off to. When he reached the enclosure, he stood on top of Satchel, readying himself in case the Ponyta tried to attack from within the building... |

For a few seconds, the stupid dog seemed unnaffected and then... Dark Growlithe: "Huh? I feel funny..." BLAAAAM!!! "I was too busy making sure the kids were safe while you were engaging in active inner monologue." And lo, the kids were actually behind Janus now. They grinned at the flaming horse, and Janus grinned too. "Run along, children..." Kids: "Thanks, mister!" The kids ran out of the room, and the grin turned menacing as Janus tapped his hammer into his hands a few times... | The Dark Ponita turned red with anger! Dark Ponita: "MY PROMOTION!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Dark Ponita's skin turned black and it's flames turned purple as it revealed it's true nature! Indeed, that Ponita was an evil Shadow Pokemon!... huh? You already knew that? NON-SENSE! Anyway... Dark Ponita made a long, graceful jump out of the room!... but slammed his/her/it's head on the ceiling just as it got throught the opening in the wall, causing it to a backflip and to not so gracefully land on it's behind, outside the building! Dark Ponita: "Ooooow... my beautiful fur... ugh..." The Dark Ponita slowly got up and begun to scold Janus! Dark Ponita: "WHY YOU LITTLE! You must think that you're so awesome becease you're a hero or something, don't you? You stupid story heroes!!!" ... During this time... ... ???: "Thank you for calling the Dark Vortex crime syndicate! Sorry but Shadow Elite CopyPrime is currently busy. Can we take your message?" | Janus: "....Why the hell isn't he attacking me? Is he really that stupid?" A look of confusion crossed Janus' face as he leapt out of the window and after the Ponyta... He regained his bearings as he fell, and landed gracefully on the ground, taking off towards the group of wayward shadows. Since he didn't have any kind of exorcism Pokeball, he decided to use the good old fashioned method of bestowing good sense upon someone. Beat it into them. Which he did, shifting his attention to the cell-phone-using Charmander that seemed to be trying to call for backup. He dashed forward, and delivered a bushido-style strike to the Charmander, following through with the trademark breeze of cherry blossoms that could only mean a cheap ripoff of a japanese cultural monument. "....no time to speculate..." |

| Dark Charmander yelped in surprise as Janus dashed toward him and broke throught the shop stand, obviously trying to hurt him! He jumped out of the way... but as he did, he dropped his cellphone! Dark Charmander: "NOOOOOO!!!" clang! The small cellphone landed at Janus's feet... Dark Charmander's face turned pale... very pale... and when he stepped backward and felt the wall behind him, his face turned totally white. Dark Charmander: "Look... maybe we can talk about this?... heeheehee..." knock! knock! knock! Dark Charmander *thinks* Stupid knees! Stop knocking against each others! ... Dark Ponita: "HEY! No one has the right to bully Dark Charmander besides ME!" Dark Ponita closed her eyes and then... there was a loud sound, like an explosion... and Dark Ponita fired a gigantic beam of swirling red and purple energy toward Janus! A Shadow Fire attack! | Janus: "Ha....AH!" Janus watched the blast come to him, and then yelled out as an aura of water and ice surrounded him, the power of Blue's Blizzard! He stomped down and braced himself, crushing the Charmander's cell-phone in the process. Janus then dashed forward and straight into the blast of shadowy fire, hoping desperately that the aura would offer some protection. Ice melted and water evaporated into steam as he surged through it, leaping out of the blast and over Ponyta's head. Burn marks quickly faded away from the spots where the flames had licked his skin as Janus' regenerative abilities kicked in and kept his damage present, but minimal. To say nothing of his stamina, his physical condition would at least be preserved. The hammer was raised again as Janus came down upon the shadowy fiend, and swung down hard with another earth-quaking blow! "Magnitude!!!" The ground around him shook violently as Grey, Garro, and Kalar hid behind Grey's psychic shield... Grey: "Come on, Janus... Keep it up, I'm almost ready to go..." Kalar: "Grey! I'm going to check to see if there are any other survivors!" Garro: "I'll stay here and give Janus some backup in case he needs it, then!" Grey: "Right, good idea!" Grey's shield shook along with the ground... Kalar brandished his scythe and went into a diving roll out of the shield just as the shadow blast went off. Deciding to stay out of the line of fire, he ran off to the streets of the Plateau... Those tourist stands were likely to have some survivors. |
