I was rummaging through a bunch of old tapes, playing them. I found some old cartoons from around 1991 or so. Man, did the nostalgia hit me, I found a few epiodes of David the Gnome and the Littl'bits. That was back when I was about 5 years old. Watched it every morning! Anyone remember any? |

I found some old Power Ranger tapes. They were from back to the first season, forgot what it was called. Anyway that brought back the good old days. The Power Rangers seem to get worse in every season. The first season pwns all the other ones, even my friends agree to that. (edited by Dr. Weird on 08-02-05 05:13 PM) |

Basically anything on CN back in the day was actually good, Tom and Jerry, Tiny Toons, etc. I loved the Mario Super Show, Sonic the Hedgehog show (the series one), Megaman, and a few other videogame shows. Power Rangers was good ... VR Troopers, Super Human Samurai (something like that). Some really awesome stuff back in the day, Johny Quest, Beast Wars, Reboot. And I basically loved all cartoons back then. (edited by Xeolord on 08-03-05 11:52 AM) |

That's in the US, right? I might think about importing, but it really should be released over here as well because the program was jointly owned by Thames Television in the UK, and I think it mas made over here as well. Fraggle Rock was my all time favorite show as a kid, and I fully plan on buying the box set when it arrives |

Originally posted by Bella I agree, the only show I like right now on Nickeloden is the Fairly Oddparents and I rarely watch that. I miss all the shows I used to watch like Rocco's modern life. The only episode they show of Rocco's modern life is probably the Christmas special. |

I can't believe I forgot TMNT ... That is just pathetically said on my part. I had tons upon tons of action figures, even vehicles, videogames, and everything. That also reminds me about the original Batman cartoon, that one was good too. |

I loveded that show I didn't even know they played any Rocco's Modern Life still. I thought they completely kicked it off of there already. |

Originally posted by Bella Apparantly, the do this because they want to have some sort of marathon of holiday specials. I'm pretty sure that they also show Angry Beavers too but All Grown Up I don't watch at all because it's not the same as the original Rugrats. |

Yeah, I know they always play the same Holiday episodes of certain shows and then I wonder if they're ever going to update them . Yeah, All Grown Up is okay since it's a little different from the original. I haven't seen too many episodes of it though . I can't even remember the last time I've watched Nick. I used to watch All That (some of it was kinda funny ) and Kenan and Kel on there too.

Cartoon Network sucks now that they have an annoying version of Cartoon Cartoon Fridays; more watered-down brainless cartoon cartoons (Camp Lazlo, Life with Juniper Lee, Puffy Amiyumi) and less good stuff (Dexter's Lab, Cow and Chickin', Courage the Cowardly Dog). I hate the fat guy acting stupid all the time and what's with the black girl quitting? Do I smell racism or was she smart enough to discontinue the new, crappy show? Nickolodeon sucks too. I hate Danny Phantom, Rugrats All Grown-Up... hell, they don't even show that many cartoons anymore. (edited by Cruel Justice on 08-04-05 08:30 PM) |

I agree with Cruel Justice on that one. To me, it seems that shows are getting lamer as I get older. If these shows that Cruel Justice appeared around the same time as I was little which some do, I would like them because I wouldn't know better.

What about The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy? YD loves that show, and it's actually growing on me a bit too. |
