| Summons are allowed for this fight. I don't mind how many people join this fight, but make sure you do before the actual fight starts, or soon after it's started. A darkened forest which an evil force took over. All forms of life had died at the time evil had taken it, causing all the trees and bushes, any small or large animals to die. Every leaf on every tree seemed to burn into nothingness. The perfect place to await a challenge, Kain thought as he sits on a dead tree stump. The air around him grew cold and stale as Kain drew in the evil energy flowing through the air. The blades of his kodachis and the teeth of his Dragon Knuckles shine brightly in the moonlight. As the wind picks up, Kain's torn cape flaps about, although still concealing his body. He continues to sit gathering energy, unaffected by the harsh, cold weather. Dragon Knuckles - A pair of beautifully made steel dragon heads. The 'teeth' of them are taken from a real dragon, and the knuckles are also coated in dragon scales, meaning they are very resistant to many forms of damage (edited by Sailing Pirate Ryan on 08-02-05 11:54 PM) |

| "So... where are we?" a voice calls out throughout the darkness, catching Kain's attention. "Hey how should I know?" Another voice yelled out, almost in anger, "Your the one with the damn map!" Just a mile from Kain's location, four people... well, three NetNavis in reploid bodies, and a human were walking through the dead darkness, completely lost somehow. "Hey, it isn't my fault Yami-Bakura last used his shadow magic here. Your the one with the map Zero, so to me, you got us lost!" Bass yelled. Zero stopped in his tracks and turned around, "You wanna fight about it fish-face?" Bass tackled down Zero, and the two suddenly went into a fight. "Hey c'mon now!" The human said. It was strange seeing a human here in the darkness, especially since this place seemed to be dead and uninhabibatle, but he seemed all okay. He went and held down Zero, while the fourth person held down the one with a helmet that had fins. "Stop it you two, your both Special Unit Navis, so act like it!" The two were let go, and they glared at eachother before they continued their way through the darkness... that is until David's item hanging around his neck began glowing a golden yellow glow. The three stopped and looked at the Golden Battlechip. The last time it shone like that was when someone else was nearby. It seemed to flicker off towards a direction, and was also pulling David towards that direction. The three Navis followed after David, where he stopped shortly after. In their sights, was a person sitting down on a dead tree stump. The glow around the Millennium Battlechip stopped glowing, as the three Navis prepared their weapons. Maverick Hunter rule number one: Always be prepared for anything. "Hello?" The Navi with yellow blond hair said to the guy sitting down. "Umm... hi, were .EXE Maverick Hunters... I'm David," the human spoke to the person, "To my right, is Bass.EXE, The Black Shadow." He pointed to the right. Bass' helmet with large, cobra like fins on either side, red eyes. He also wears a large, brown cloak that covers his whole body and part of his face, to hide the unsightly scar on his chest. Underneath the cloak when he isn't wearing it, his body suit is pure black with purple stripes running along the front ending at the sides of his damaged icon. "I'm ForteZero," ForteZero announced himself. He has the same physical apperance as Bass but with different changes. His chest is encased in dark grey body armor, with a power pack located on the back of the armor. His helmet was the same as Bass, same with the pourple streaks under the eyes, but are smaller and the same style was above his eyebrows at a triangle point. His icon, a round black circle with a red curved S with a non-damaged slash across it, is located inside the large diamond shaped jewel in the front of the chest armor. "I'm Zero," the blond swordsman said. His bodysuit was completely black. His boots are thinned out near the top and red in color, the feet which were red colored metal with white trims. His gloves are white around the hands while the rest looked like a pair of red bracers. Red vest-like armor covered his torso with a "Z" icon as a patch on the right side of his chest. His helmet style, the middle was a cobalt blue and the rest was red. Also, a pair of white crests seemed to curve backward from the sides near the top, same with near the elbows. Long yellow blond hair flowed out from the back of his helmet down to his waist. To be on the safe side, incase the person they located was a bad guy, he pressed a button on his belt, and he was engulfed in a barrier of light that seemed to slightly penatrate the darkness. A black body suit appears over David's clothes. Blue armor with white stripes around the front snapped onto him, as the gem identical to Axl's appeared below the armor, two yellow stripes produced and streaked down, ending at the belt. The belt was grey colored, with a pentagon icon on the front. The left side held a pistol on the left inside a holster, the same part on the right. His boots were sleak and agile like blue with a red stripe, the knee pad large and translucent, the color of rose purple. Shoulder parts came on, green with orange stripes, the left side with his and ForteZero's icon emblazoned on it. His arms were encased in armor, which at the side, a large light purple crystal was fused into, the gloves pure white. A body pack almost identicle to R MegaMan's formed on his back, a green beam saber holder on the right side. David closed his eyes as his helmet fused of Axl's, Zero's, and MegaMan's formed over his head. Axl's part was the navy blue and red with yellow extensions, MegaMan's part was the yellow helmet parts, and Zero's crests were embedded between the yellow extensions. The barrier broke up, and he landed on the ground, his left hand over his pistol in the holster with caution. "So umm... do you have a name, and please explain why your here in this... dead forest?" He slightly demanded in a soft voice, not to anger the person. |

| Kain pushes himself off the stump, spinning and landing. His cape twirls around him, slowly unravelling as he stands "My name is Kain... I have no reason to be here but to battle." Kain's voice was very deep, yet very gentle. Even though his looks pretty much say he's evil, he never angers. He lifts his foot up, slamming it down with tremendous force. On contact with the ground, huge walls of darkness surround all five of them. They all grow upwards, then curve across over them, encasing them all in a huge half sphere "And it looks like I've found my opponents" As Kain draws his kodachis, darkness created from the energies in the air begin to swirl around the blades. He holds them at the side of his body, then gives a bow to his opponents, as a sign that he starts fighting. He slashes the air, his right kodachi emitting a large wave of darkness, in an attempt to slice his opponents in half |

| The darkness that he used to attack broke up upon contact. David's Millennium Item, his Battlechip, destroyed the darkness. Bass has already vanished from view, only to reappear, and grab the weapon Kain used. Shortly after, he jumped backwards, and landed. His hand glowed before he produced from data an exact copy of the weapon called Dragon Knuckles. If Kain was shocked, even though he would of thought Bass was gonna steal it, the Black Shadow smiled. "Listen kid... if your gonna be hostile, we have no guarrentee that you're gonna live." ForteZero elbowed him in the ribs softly. "What my brother ment was that if you want a fight, we'll be glad to, but we'll also have to arrest you for attacking Maverick Hunters," ForteZero said, "What my brother did earlier, was used his Get Ability Program. It copies what the enemy has, and uses it's abilities against him/her." Zero went into a defensive stance, David had his Magnum Revolver out, aimmed at Kain. ForteZero held his hand over the weapon Bass copied, and was now holding the same weapon, using his Get Ability Program. "I wonder what these... "Dragon Knuckles" can do with Special Weapon: Annihilator Hadoken!" He glowed slightly, and before long, his armor's color scheme changed. From what they were, they now became a crimson red and white color. His fist holding the Dragon Knuckles glowed and he swung at Kain, launching forth an unbelievably powerful energy beam. If it connected, powerful damage. It also peirces through stronge defense. Zero smiled before holding out his Z-Buster, activating a EX Skill. He began charging energy, while David in his Command Armor provided a spread fire of plasma bullets also heading toward's Kain's direction. Bass cackled before he flew up into the air, morphed his hands into his Bass Busters, and smiled, "Shooting Buster!" Energy blasts erupted from both his busters, as they began raining down at a moderate speed. From teh air, were plasma shots raining down, ForteZero's Annihilator Hadoken fastily approaching him, and David's spread fire of plasma bullets. "We've faced off more threats than this guy... hopefully he isn't a member of that Neo Arcadian group... or a follower of them," David muttered. "It's strange, but he sorta reminds me of Elpizo's operator, Vincent Valentine, doesn't he?" ForteZero questioned. David only nodded, not keeping his eye off Kain. Edit: Forgot to place a little bit of this about the Millennium Battlechip. It's a type of item that destroys most dark powers thats used. Also think of it as some sort of... uhh, power boost in spiritual strength, as well as David's armor against darkness. (edited by Forte.EXE on 08-02-05 10:17 PM) |

| (ooc: Sorry if I've missed something here, there were too many attacks coming at once for me to keep track of) Kain looks at the copy of his own hand crafted weapon being held by the hands of a mortal. This weapon could only be held by those between life and death. Bass should soon find out what happens when you steal from the undead. The Dragon Knuckles on Bass' hands attempt to send pulses through Bass' body, trying to weaken him close enough to a coma or even death. This can affect all beings, living or non living, yet has no affect on the undead. Kain holds up each of his own Dragon Knuckles, waiting for the beam of energy to come close enough. Just before it connects with Kain, he salms each of his own Dragon Knuckles togethor, capturing the energy fired at him. The knuckles glow brightly for a short second, to show that they have safely contained the energy. Kain uses this energy to create a defense from the plasma shots coming at him, and raining down upon him. The plasma shots stop dead in the air, then completely disappear in a dissolving manner. He looks at his four foes. "So, it's 4 versus 1 eh?" Kain pulls out a small flute, which he instantly starts playing. The tune is very quick and quite long. From the darkness surrounding the fighters, a huge dragon flies in, as if it has flown through the barrier. It lands right next to Kain, taking a huge roar at Kain's opponents. Soon after it blows a huge blast of fire at all four of them. Through the smoke, Kain also charges through, empowering his own Dargon Knuckles with dark energy. He takes a slice towards Zero, not caring where hit it as there was practically certain death if it hit anywhere. If the weapon's teeth make contact, the dark energy will infect Zero, corruppting all body parts, rendering them useless. Kain then jumps back, then thrusts upwards, landing on the back of his dark dragon. Dragon Infection Dragon Infection is the spread of dark energy through the Dragon Knuckles. Once infected, the energy runs through either your blood, or electricity, depending on whether you're a human or robot. In a human, the energy corrupts all muscles and body parts it passes through. In a robot, it will breakdown and even explode batteries, microboards and any other robot part. The only real defense is to not come into contact with the teeth. | OOC: Zero, Bass, and ForteZero are NetNavis, basically data brought into the real world. They suffer damage and all, but infections by earthly means don't work. I said they were NetNavis, but I didn't say they were within reploid bodies... u_u; Bass felt nothing, as the Dragon Knuckles he used for the attack was discarded. Both the two Navis discarded them (are not usable), as they broke up into pixels of data before vanishing. All four Maverick Hunters jumped backwards, evading Kain's attack. Zero smiled, as his charging effect brought in the blats of fire to his Z-Buster. "Glad I activated Tractor Shot. Take this!" He launched his charged shot, which also carried with it the huge blast if fire aimmed at Kain. David activated Big Guard right after Zero attacked, surrounding himself and the others in a barrier. Bass added in the stronge defense with Darkness Barrier, and Dark Aura (both are of a different type of darkness, not the one Kain is familliar with). "Special Ability: AT (Absolute Terror) Field!" He returned to normal colors, raised his hands in front of him, and an invisible but strong barrier formed over the Dark Aura, Darkness Barrier, and Big Guard. Any damage inflicted will be cut in half (if the damage is high, its then basic). AT Field is a special type of barrier that nuteralizes a status ailment cast by the opponent by a spell, form of attack (offensive, defensive, ect.) or a summoning. Plus, the barrier gains more defensive power by means of an evil presence, or the field, which is what were fighting in. "Glad this place is filled with darkness, it helps with the AT Field's strength," ForteZero said, with a smirk on his face. David held out Zero's PET, and grabbed a chip from a hidden armor pocket, "Let's see if we can paralyze him. FlashMan V4 Battlechip in, download!" He inserted a chip with FlashMan's picture on it into Zero's PET, and the blond swordsman held his hand out. In front of them outside the barrier, FlashMan appears. "Neon Lights!" FlashMan holds out his hands and flat dome shaped lightbulbs that flash the lights of the visible spectrum, appears, and headed straight towards Kain. Another pair of Neon Lights were formed and heades straight towards the dragon. The speeds of these attacks are very fast, like Mach 4. David also inserted Swamp Seed into the PET, which a purple seed materialized in front of Kain, fell, and smacked the ground underneath the dragon, and Kain. It turned into a foul smelling swamp. Its strange, since they are not sinking in it, but it does something else: drain the enemy's HP by 2 every second, even if they are undead/alive/dead/made of data/whatever. OOC2: FlashMan is an elec Navi. HP damage needed for FlashMan to be deleted is 2000 or higher. Also, if they connect, you'll be paralyzed. |
