| but... sion.... its an anime layout! Anyway, I love it! I haven't thought about Tenchi in years! Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo were better than Tenchi Muyo, though. |

| Lies! Well... I can see the arguement for the first TV series (Universe) being better than the OVA (Muyo) since it had a fully expressed plot... But the characters are much much deeper in the OVA, and the universe much more expansive and well planned out. Shin Tenchi Muyo (Tenchi in Tokyo), while not a bad series at all, simply doesn't compare to the OVA or the first TV series at all. Nothing beats the original. Plus, you're porbably working only with a (possibly faded) knowledge of what Cartoon Network aired. Cartoon Network butchered the series for sake of censoring and making it fit in the availible time-slot with room for commercials. Plus, there's been seven more OVA episodes produced since when CN aired the series, as well as a whole 26-episode side-story-series (Tenchi Muyo GXP) set in the OVA's reality, which further expands upon it. |
