First of all, it's [url]URL of file here[/url].
Second, you have to upload your file to a server online. You can't link to your A: drive.

He's right. If you need a free place to load files, try Tripod. It sort of sucks, but I don't know of any decent ones.

Second time this month I have seen someone try and link to their harddrive. But a REMOVEABLE one!

That *would* be an interesting trick, come to think of it.

Now, why a testing thread like this would be in the Newbie Forum... Boggles the mind. :\ Closing since you should know how to do it by now and enough info was given. This isn't the place for threads like this, to be honest.
