Heh, I actually do that too. At least with threads where the 20 last posts matters more than the whole thread, such as the Town square thread.

I turn on and off layouts depending on my mood and where I am. I turned them on now, but I usually turn them off while being in public places.


I used to do that too. With layouts turned on, and browsing in public places or when my family was walking around it just made me feel really awkward.

Eh. Layouts are a mixed bag, but even the bad ones are kinda fun sometimes. I have 56k and I've never had a real problem with slowdown.

I had 3 layouts blocked, but for some reason now I don't.

The best layout is Danielle's and Legions. Easy to read and they look great.

I imagine a bunch of people have my layout blocked because of my ass layout. Just so everyone knows, I am not using that anymore and no posts exist (to my knowing) of that layout left on the board.

My computer is SLOW.
If your computer is slow for those layouts, why not block them altogether? Becuase a lot of those layouts are pretty quick loading.. and there are worse out there..

I don't think that it's that bad. After all, I got permission from an admin to use it, so it's not THAT bad!

Not many people liked it anyway except Kario and the like. I was only allowed to have it up for a few days anyway to prove a point to melvin. I am getting another girl layout soon, but it will only be a face. Nothing bad what so ever. Plus my layout will be easier to read finally!

I dunno. Layouts just make this board seem... Awesomer than others. It's more interesting to read things when everything isn't the same thing.

I leave layout on, because I like a board where there can actually be differences in posts. Acmlm's is a lot better than several other boards I tried out.

I only block layouts if they're offensive...like Melvin's was. It'd be a pain to have my mom walk by while I was reading a post with a dirty layout...otherwise, I don't mind them at all. I actually like this board waaay more with layouts. It's very neat.

Just you wait 'till October, I'm going to have a sweet one!
