Who here has heard the news about Pokemon Leaf Green and Fire Red? I was so suprised when i heard about it, i mean haven't they brought out enough pokemon games. Suprisingly they haven't made new pokemon, just basically brought them all together into one game. These will be coming out on GBA and i for one can't wait  though not certain when they will be relised into Australia. |

| Erm... Actually, Leaf Green and Fire Red are *REMAKES* (or remixes if you prefer) of the original Pokemon games. There certainly are new features/quirks, though. | |||

Well i hope its world-wide They only have given a release date in japan... haven't seen one for Australia or Europe yet  And i forgot that they are going to be remakes, thanks for reminding me Colleen  |

| According to gamefaq they are releasing Leaf Green & Fire Red in September 15 in US. And they will according to the same site release it on december 31 in Europe. That last date must be a mistake, I mean... releasing it on new years eve Nintendo?  |

| Sorry i should have thought before i posted that message I know that it would be relised in japan first but the release date last i checked was sometime in april >for japan<... then someone mentioned that it wouldn't be relised to the rest of the world till november/december  |

You wouldn't have that problem if you picked a color and open/closed the tags in each message instead of manually putting it in...  If a game's made in Japan, it's released in Japan first. RARELY will you see a simultaneous release, but companies do make a few exceptions... Metroid games come out in America first because the series is more popular here than in Japan, for instance. |

where the hell have you been it's been out in japan for a good while now....it's a remake of Red/green (or our Blue Version) for the GBA. And not all pokemon are in it, dah  No hoenn pokemon, (except wynaut and azuril for obvious reasons) are there, and there are many pokemon only obtainable through Pokemon Colloseum. Your sources must have been a bit....off |

| I have the ROM of it, it's average, really. I'm only on the SS Anne It's not all that new. Well, yeah, it IS a remake, but it is not as good as Ruby/Sapphire, mainly because they were new adventures. |

...................................the orange islands was the anime.  ;;there are Islands in this game (you probably didn't know that, judging by your sorces though ) that happen later on with a few Johto pokemon...but I won't ruin the game for you. Now if only we could get more people to stop associating hte anime with the game thats the whole reason so many people "hate" pokemon. |
