I've been to Nostagia land and I have to say, I wish I was back in time again. The Super Mario Bros. Super Show was on T.V., The Simpsons didn't offend me as much, And Ninja Turtles wasn't so....... serious.

I remember those turtle bowls you usually get in those Cookie Crisp boxes. They rocked hard. I also remember those Mario and Sonic toys from McDonalds. That was great!

Anything you miss from the past?

Simply downloading episodes from the past won't take you there. I know where Shy Guy is coming from. The longing to go back to the way things were, forever more increasingly tempting by the fact that it can never be.

Its funny to think how we will probably looking upon the days we were in Acmlm's Board as the good ole' days, and wanting to go back to them.

There will always be another there if you are standing here. You move there, and there becomes here.

Its an awful cycle called life. It drives people insane. We cannot ever truly live with life, we simply learn to cope with it.

...That was a kind of unnecissary moment of depth...

You are all right but Mr. Plunder. HE'S VERY WRONG.

It's just..... have you ever gotten a feeling of nostagia before? Of anything whether it be moments, games, or TV Shows? Have you ever came across something that "Takes you way back"?

Honestly, yes there were some good times in the past, but why not enjoy today instead of envying your past. Life's way to short to go about wishing you were back in the past.

Yeah, I hear you on that.

Plus, about a year ago I got this badge that read FREEDOM.

But yeah, there are those nostagliac times, but you can't change the past. Keep your head up, and make the best of your time (at least the way I look at most of life, even thoug I've sometimes dwelled on how good my life used to be compared to recently. Then again, that's just a few years ago talking, man Jr. High sucked).

Edit: Yeah, life is great now.

No responsibilities would be nice... hell, 75% of you don't have to pay bills! Cherish it!!! *shakes a random member's head*

Then again, I enjoy the benefits of driving and earning money.

I used to watch shows on television like, "Dinosaurs from Outer Space" or "TMNT" (Before all that Miguzi bullh*t). I miss playing Ninja Turtles with my friends on a playground with a bunch of sticks.

Having no living expenses is nice, sure, but what good is it with no income? And to get income, you need to work.
But at least you can keep 100% of it, until you move out.

In the good old days in my opinion is when my parents weren't so busy as they are today. My dad liked to play the NES and I used to either watch or play when he's not playing because he liked to play 1P though. We even played SMB on SMAS before he stopped playing video games with me. Those were the good old days. As for my mom, she didn't work that much as today. Her old schedule was like working 2 or 3 weekdays and sometimes works nightshift. Now my mom works on all 5 days of the weekday and works nightshift almost everything single weekend. Sigh, I miss the good old days.

Yes, I get a longing for past times a lot...one of my favorites was around '96, when I was a kid, and I was completely OBSESSED with Super Mario World and Super Mario 64. My friends were, too, so we got along well. I'd watch the Mario All Stars in the morning when I woke up, go to a day care thing where I played on the SNES, go to school, go back to the day care thing and play more SNES, and then go home and draw my Mario own levels on paper. Funny, how then I wished for the future, when I'd be able to make my own Mario gamese.

Funny thing that you say you used to dream of making SMW levels, so did I. I remember I used to go to a daycare, I'd either play simcity classic on PC, or TMNT 2 for NES. 4-year-olds playing a fairly difficult game, heh. We did pretty well in the game, even getting to level 3 with our best gamers working together. (my freinds and I). I udes to be obsessed with SMW too, until the cartridge's SRAM chip died. Then I had to get a new cart.

Well...I guess game making / programming would have to be a common interest among most of us, to land us at a board like this! Still, it's fun to know I wasn't alone.
