[kicks over to Emulation] Read the forum descriptions next time. Furthermore, you're not being very clear about WHAT isn't working in ZSNES. Are you going through the Netplay >> Internet option, one being server and one getting the IP from the server to connect? Should be as simple as that unless you're firewalled, in which case one of you needs to fix something. |

Well, you can start by looking at the FAQ here Both you and your friend need to configure router/firewall. (edited by Kirby ATW on 07-22-05 03:57 PM) |

Netplay on ZSNES is very complicated for some reason. One time I got it working after having me and my friend set the ZSNES program to the 'Allow' list on our firewalls, but a couple months later we tried again and nothing worked! I would reccomend disabling any type of computer protection you can (i.e. firewalls and virus scanners) before trying Netplay. This may open you up to a bunch of viruses, though. =P Snika |

Another way to get it working (but it's also a bad idea) is to disable UDP. That will create huge lag, and anything played/watched will be unbearable to go through. The Zsnes team needs to revamp the NetPlay feature, period. | |||

I'm pretty sure this is covered in the documentation as well, but since no one reads that anyway.. Go here for your answer: http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2202 (edited by The Sage Of Time on 07-23-05 05:38 AM) |

Originally posted by Lenophis Actually, that's true only in low-bandwidth connections. If both of you have broadband, it's about the same as UDP. (edited by Priere on 07-23-05 09:13 PM) |
