The Matrix was THE ultimate movie...dont get me wrong it was a great trilogy (this can be debated to hell...dont start)...but I just think that the first one was so great and powerful...reloaded and revolutions had no chance at topping it...only continuing a great story

The Matrix was a great movie, but a horrible trilogy. If they had never made the two sequels, there would have been much rejoycing...

Original Matrix. From there, the series took a nosedive.

I like The Matrix the most. Revolutions was alright, but not near as goods as he first.

(I mainly just liked Reloaded just for Burly Brawl as well)

The first one. Though the other two were good, they were clearly made only for money and lacked the charm that the first movie had/has.

The original was still the all around best. Reloaded just took the story and made it into a kickass special effects kung fu show, which was good. Revolutions was more to round out the entire story.

Rate them how you will.

Hmm...I need to reach waaay back into my memory to remember The Matrix..only saw it once . Yeah the first one was good but the 2nd one had the cool special effects. The first is always the best.

Storylinewise, the first one.

Fight scenewise, the second one.

For instance, I'll watch the first one the whole way through over and over again.

But for the last two, I always skip any part that's NOT an action scene. Anyone do the same?

Revolutions could've put the series back on track again if only (WARNING: spoilers for people who haven't seen the movie)...

-They got rid of the love story as was in the 2nd movie, with that cheesy scene of Trinity wearing plates all over her body wanting to "get some"
-They didn't start a whole new war, only to try and make "peace" to which I see no point.
-The fight scenes were a little more cinematic. Raindrops blasting from their fists as they punch people just isn't very realistic at all.
-NO SMITH FLYING!! That's just damned stupid and pointless

Exactly, the whole thing about making peace between the machines and humans is just plain stupid, I mean their not just going to let humans take back the surface

The fight scene was a bit corny, the rain was pointless and the rows of smith not doing anything

But the whole techno graphics and that was excellent

Reloaded. The first one was just a bunch of action(which wasn't too exhilirating) slapped together with a story that was somewhat interesting but wasn't really touched on. The second one's action was a lot better and more of the story was revealed. Also, we met many new characters. The third one lacked any sense. The lines were really crappy like the infamous "What the shit?", although the smith-neo fight scene was semi-cool.(if they didnt make it so much like DBZ and took out that cheesy slow motion punch to Smith) It was just like stuff was happening, and I didn't know what I was seeing. The ending was a real downer, I mean what the hell happened? They should've had more of the twins

I would say theMatrix. Reloaded was spoiled by Super Mario Reloaded on newgrounds. I never heard of revolutions.I wonder what that is like?
