You think he makes bad movies?

As for this one...I'm not really sure what it's about. Maybe I was just too lazy to read far enough.

Braveheart and The Passion of the Christ are crummy movies? They're both excellent, and this new movie sounds interesting (especially since the movie might not have a star).

With your last comment, your opinions have become invalid.

Braveheart was fucking awesome, and Passion was a biblical movie finally done right.

The Last Temptation WAS better

Braveheart was cool if you can ignore EVERY single historical detail that got mangled and distorted.

Gibson sucks. He should make this into a prequel of Mad Max and be done with it.

For the record, movies don't HAVE to be "omgwtfpwn" accurate to be good. This goes for Braveheart, Troy, Alexander, etc etc.

It's a movie, it's entertainment. Being not 100% hisotrically accurate does not call for a mark down in movie quality.

Braveheart is very historically inaccurate, and the Scottish and Irish accents aren't realistic, but it's still my favorite movie. I think it's written superbly well, and I love the acting, music, and directing (I'm a fan of the shaky-camera battle scenes as well).

he disgusts me, what he believes is right is the opposite of what i believe, he just pisses me off because of how religous he is, I didnt mind until Passion came out, and he tried to cram his religion down our fucking throats, and the fact that he said his wife was going to hell because she ate meat on a friday during lent dosent really help things at all...
and kario, fuck you, its my fucking opinion.
you know what? fuck this place, im out.

Just to clarify something. You dont like that Mel Gibson tried to shove his opinion down everyones throats, so you bash him for it. You shove your opinion down our throats, and bashing you is suddenly bad. Way to be a hypocrite.

I'm agreeing with the Tard statement.

I still think Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This! would be a good movie to watch with a date at a nice nightin the drive-in.

Braveheart was cool. I liked the stories behind it, but it could do without it. It was, as AF said it, superbly well done.

Troy fucking blew. The source material, either from the Illiad or even Dares is fucking good. In fact, if they would've used those, the movie would've been better. But they decided to pander to Pitt as Achilles rather than the OTHER characters. Plus, the movie sucked over all.

Alexander ditto to the above. Although I liked it a bit more, because it caused a HUGE influx of kids into the Classics club at my school to study Hellenism, which I was more than happy to aid them with

Now, as long as that stupid idea to make Thermopolye into a movie is dead, I'll be a happy man. I couldn't stand to see my favourite battle ruined.

Hey hey hey now, I didn't like Troy either. I could never quite put my finger on why, but after I left the theater the only thing that came to mind was "Why did I just watch that?".

Don't know what it was about it, just didn't seem too.....good. :/

And I didn't see Alexander yet.
