Are there any programs which let me convert a .VRML file to a .X file? Preferably a free one.

what's a .X file? I've heard of VRML, but what is .X?

It's the type of 3d object file DirectX uses. I need one so I can make objects for Dark BASIC.

This is a big stab in the dark, as I don't have a .vrml file to test with the program I found here, but going by what the site says, the program can open .vrml files, and load / save .x files. I assume that means you can open the vrml file, then save it in the .x format, but you'd have to try it out yourself to see.

Anyways, here's a link to the site. The program itself it shareware, so if you plan on doing a lot of stuff with it, you'll have to find some way to register it sooner or later

Hopefully that'll work, as it's the only thing I was able to find
