EARTH IS STILL BETA? You mean i've been living in alpha for all this time? Well, There's still tons of bugs, the wasps are features i presume. The Tectonic plates are unstable, making some sectors crash, but i'd say it's still pretty good. |

I can't use it because I have a Mac. >8( It's no big deal anyway, I had Danielle zoom in on my house and it looked like they took the zoomed in on the http://maps.google.com version, and just made THAT image bigger, or something stupid. It was blurry and gross. So based on what I can do with the online version, it's pretty nifty. My place comes in clean, and I was able to follow the street I take to walk to school. I can tell it's at least a bit over a year old because of how my school track looks. |

It's really awesome, my town is at low res though so you can't make it out. I could see my Ex's house though, although back then it wasn't built yet. I saw where my Chinese penpal was, although that's also at low res. Oh and the London Eye looks impressive

Seeing inside of people's houses (through their roofs) in real time is probably something that could be very possible in a matter of years, although the government wouldn't ever allow such a thing. Imagine the responce from perverts staring inside people's bathrooms! =P Snika |

Hey, on Keyhole... look around the big cities at the highways... ocasionally, you can see a wreck, or a fire at a house with firetrucks outside... Really neat stuff shows up on there.

Originally posted by ||bass Oh, that's different. Where my dad lives, the color of the whole screen turns a weird green and it's all blurry, no matter how far youo zoom out. I guess it's because that area is newer, and when the pics were taken there was nothing to be photographed. Oh well. |
