I saw this movie recently and I can honestly say I was pretty impressed.

The reviews and cristicism it got made me go in expecting something not that great, but I was entirely proved wrong.

Overall it had some odd leaps in the plot that just might make you say "How did he/she do that?" but I think the storyline was nicely done.

It was no Batman nor was it a Spiderman, but it is absolutely nowhere near saying it was something along the lines of Daredevil and Catwomen.

If you're a fan of the Fantastic Four, superhero movies, comics, whatever, I'd recommend this movie.

I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

And this is coming from someone who's never really liked the Fantastic Four at all (me), and I still enjoyed the movie. And Dr. Doom is by far now one of my favorite villians out there.

... besides, Jessica Alba.

No, you're wrong. I, I don't care if it's your opinion, your opinion is wrong.

Opinions can't be wrong. They're personal preferences that are neither wrong nor right. If we don't respect that, then THE TERRORISTS HAVE WON.

Anyway, my opinion is that both of your opinions are wrong.

I'd be willing to bet both of you haven't even seen the movie.

I could careless if you hate it, but both of your posts were pretty off-topic.

But it sucked. The movie had crappy acting on the part of most of everyone, a lot of it was horribly miscast, and it... For the most part, it didn't make any damned sense. No one who likes Fantastic Four or hell, even has a casual interest in it could possibly like this movie.

Edit: My post wasn't off-topic. I said you were wrong about the movie being good. You were right about one thing, though; I haven't seen the movie. I've read the reviews, though, and a bunch of people I know have seen it, and based on what I've read and heard it seems like the kind of thing I would really, really hate.

And that's your opinion.

I think too many people have gone into this movie and literally tried to be critical on it. All the "bad things" I'm hearing about it, are the same things over and over.

But you see, but "bad things" are true, and from what I've heard are glaringly obvious.

And really, I can totally understand people going in to this movie with the intent to pick it apart. I mean, have you seen the ad campaign?

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm really not expecting much, judging by the trailers and commercials. 1) It looks stupid, 2) The superhero movie plot is getting milked too far, 3) The acting looks bad, and the 'jokes' weren't too great, 4)...I really don't like the characters themselves...

Still, that's just from commercials and stuff. I could be totally proven wrong when I see the movie...if I see the movie...if I rent the movie...

I guess I'm just too much of a Marvel / Superhero fan then. =\

I'm still waiting for an Iron Man movie though.

Daredevil wasn't that bad, come on. Jen Garner.

I haven't seen this, and I'm not going to based on the trailers I've seen. I haven't heard much about this movie and what you're all saying about it, but when I saw the trailer I wasn't interested at all.

I was totally on topic. I was saying that, though I think Kyouji is wrong and the movie might be alright, Zeogred is also wrong in saying "... besides, Jessica Alba, " since she's "meh" at best. So there.

I saw it opening day. And the whole time there were these little kids kicking my seat. I moved a few times and they still continued.

It's a really good movie, better than I thought that it would be. Though there are many innacuracies.
The cast could have been better. Ben Grimm wasn't bald, Micahel Chiklis is.
Johnny Storm has bright blonde hair-not in the movie. And Sue Storm has much lighter skin.
Dr. Doom wasn't hit by the cosmic rays, nor was he a business man. He's the ruler and diplomat of Latveria-which means he has diplomatic immunity. And he didn't even really show up in the movie until the end, and was beaten easily.
And then of course, Reed Richards was kinda young, but his power looked so cool in live-action.
And yeah, Jessica Alba was hot, so I guess that makes up for most of it.

Seconded.

Honestly, I didn't think F4 was nearly as bad as everyone said it was. Most likely becasue I went into it thinking I would get your basic superhero popcorn flick with some stupid jokes here and there, which is basically what I got.

Moral of the story: Don't take it so seriously, and you may actually enjoy it.

I have very high expectations for comic book movies and super-hero movies.

The simple dismissal of Latveria pisses me off. And they didn't even use the Ultimate Fantastic Four story line, which could've made it MUCH better.

Never saw it yet, but I will soon. It might be good. I am thinking there might not be that many fights. I am probably wrong what I said. Anyway Jessica Alba looks really hot in that movie. Stunning.
