Hello there, I'm sure that some of you people remember me.

First up, I would like to stress the point that over the last few months I have been posting in other forums and I'm sure that I've turned over a new leaf and no longer post exessively like I used to.

I would like to have a fresh start here, as it seems that everyone has since the error a few weeks ago.

I am happy to be back, and I hope that you'll welcome me with open arms.

Actually, I changed mine way back in October...

And it's not like I have much of a layout. It's just light blue text in 12-point Verdana on a dark blue background. There aren't even any images.

It stands out like that. It's layouts like yours that I like to see.

Mine, on the other hand, is remarkably huge and has many many images.

Then again I did it in MS Paint and I love showing crap I can do in that shitty image editor.

Funny enough, we watched one short of Powdered Toast Man a couple of hours ago with such events that would've sent children to the hospital many times over.

HH:
1. Tiling backgrounds suck (I don't particularly care if the majority of this board runs at a certain resolution)
2. Cycling tiling backgrounds which periodically make text unreadable also suck
3. Broken pics suck as well
4. Pointlessly small pointless activity meters with 'CPU Meter' scribbled over with said unreadable text for some reason tend to suck
5. I know for a fact you've done much, much better

OK, I see what you mean, but...
1) I tried non-repeating, it sucked a LOT more.
2) I can read them all just fine. Take a pic or something, and include what OS you use. I know it looks different on XP than 98 for some reason.
3) What broken pics? I only know of one, which I commented out.
4) That's an activity graph, it's just small. It'll get bigger (like to the point of not making the text break) in a coupla weeks. (But I think I will change that a bit so the text stays on one line.)

Some of the backrounds are tedious for me, becuse how bright they are.

Yes there is this grid who makes it somewhat easier.

Some of the backroudns do work well thought, the darker ones.

@Hyperhacker: maybe you could decrease the contrast of your background image and it would be easier to read.

@all: i think that if there are less colors in a layout it's better to read and looking better. if anyone don't like layouts he can turn it off.

btw.: i'm planning to make a better layout in the near future
