Who never wanted to have his own Chomp next to his house Actually I found even more easy ways to get these to work... Almost all sprites can be used for overworlds except a few ones like some bosses and some other ones like the PegSwitch (aka. a really buggy one if you hit it) and the BigCanon.. Well I should be back on dungeon editing later this week since I've starting to get my motivation again. |

Well impressed by the standard of work being shown by people. SePH those enemies rule... testing that area was a bliss to witness especially with the new overworld spring barriers... Love the ice theme jman...i love games with ice levels. not sure what it is about them but they just play really atmospherically and look brilliant. |

Nice pics there guys. I'll show you my new powerup for Super Mario 3. It replaces fire mario, with Invisible mario. Instead of being able to shoot fireballs, each time you press the fire button, you become invisible, like you would after getting hit by an enemy. But, you can only do it 3 times. After that, the powerup goes away. I changed the lives counter into the meter. Because of this new powerup, you can't get game over anymore either. Once it is 0 and you die, you just return to the map as normal. If you get the powerup again, the meter will jump back to 3, so you can use it again. |

It was a major pain in the ass making all those 8x8 tiles, HH but at least now I don't see a bunch of half-sprites running around while I'm trying to replace sprites. | |||

Thank you. I did some changes to the dungeon now. The rising fire balls have different heights, and the orb in the fourth picture goes the opposite direction now. In the last picture, demonstrates what Invisible mario can do. Mario is actually behind the enemy. |

Latest EXbox screenies: Not so sure about the color scheme and block design. The blocks look too spiky, like they should harm you. And the background is too bright. Looks a bit TOO prominent. But aside from that, the graphics are done quite well. (Oh, and PLEASE tell me the conveyor belt in screenshot #2 goes RIGHT. ) |

Thanks. I know what you mean about the blocks. I'll keep these things in mind. They could change. I just got done adding another new feature to the game. If you are raccoon mario, the pirahna plants won't shoot their fireballs at you. |

Muhuhuhahaha... Guess what, guys? Another Schwa hack is under way! And this time it's Boulder Dash!!! I've only got 1 screenshot... and it's only a very modest demonstration of my hacking skills... Introducing World 1, no longer Boulder World, now known as Chicken World! I drew the grass, crates (walls) and eggs (boulders) myself, while importing gfx from Kirby's Adventure and SMB2 to get the enemies. I also changed the palletes A LOT to make it look right. Yes, each World is going to be totally origional, with new gfx, name, and colors. The only things that'll be the same are the music, some universal gfx (main character, diamonds, amoeba tiles) and the game engine, meaning no ASM at all. And I owe my work to dan, because I believe Quarry is his editor. Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Quarry was dan's doing. So thank you, whoever made Quarry! By the way... Hack name: Boulder Dash- Power Rush. |

Well, dan, I have this to say... It's a shame there aren't many Boulder Dash hacks out there, because if you use Quarry side-by-side with TLP and Translhextion... You! Are! Unstoppable!! The hack is 16% done (all of World 1) and counting. BTW, excellent stuff VL-Tone. I don't understand any of it, but still excellent. |
