| *Ryan quickly thought of all the things that were about to happen. He heard Hurro's thoughts, although kind of muffled and hard to understand, of trying to knock him over, and the arrow coming straight for him. Hurro's wind doesn't help his dizziness, but he stands his ground. He then foward rolls fowards, dodging the arrow and jumps up with his arms held out towards Emily. He creates another orb of Pyrokenisis and throws it at her.* | |||

| Emily sidestepped the Pyrokenisis, now knowing better than to try to extinguish it. Hurro cawed again, warning Emily that Ryan could still predict her moves, but didn't attack. Emily thought for a moment, and then swiftly pulled out another small sack from her bag, this one containing a brownish powder. Quickly, she fitted it to an arrow with a strap that was on the bag, and shot the arrow straight over Ryan's head! As it flew, it left a trail of the brown dust, and if Ryan touched any of it, he would become confused, as well as take some light earth damage. Being confused would probably hinder his ability to foretell Emily's attacks for a few turns, and buy her some time. |

| *Ryan creates a thin barrier, blocking the arrow. Ryan didn't see any of the dust however, and let the shield down. He begin to run at Emily, fist full of psychic energy but suddenly stops on breathing the dust in. He begins to feel quite dizzy, not sure of where he was and such (Like you are when confused in that sort of way). He tried to conecentrate but found it very difficult. He managed to maintain a grip on his psychic sword without too much difficulty, but he found almost any other psychic attack impossible. He held up his sword and ran at Emily again, swinging around trying to swipe her in the stomach, then sends a kick towards her face* |

| Emily had her swords out again in a flash, ready for close combat. She blocked Ryan's sword, but the kick seemed to come too fast! Emily rolled backward after getting struck, and was on her feet again in no time. To attack, she ran back at Ryan, flipped over him, and swung both her swords down at him as she passed over his head. Emily planned to land behind him, and make a low sweep at his legs with both blades as she recovered from the jump. |

| *Ryan manages to duck underneath Emily when she flipped over him, then jumps up. His jump is slightly delayed because of the confusion though, so he jumps that tiny bit too late, getting a harsh gash across his foot. He lands, looking at the wound. This was the first time he had experienced true pain, and he was hating it. He clutched it, trying to stop the blood flow with his clothes. It slows down quite quickly. He stands back up and walks over to Emily, limping slightly, then takes a couple more swipes at her with his sword followed by triple left hand punches* |

| Block, hit, dodge, dodge, hit! Ryan managed to get a good cut across Emily's arm, and a punch to the head. It was no real problem to her, though, as she'd be able to heal completely after the battle. Emily worried about Ryan, however. Emily: Are you going to be all right? You didn't take that hit too well... Emily quickly applied a large leaf from her bag as a bandage to her arm. As soon as she applied it, the wound under the leaf began to heal (that's the wound closing up, not actual healing HP...HP stays the same). After this, she probably only had time to make one quick move. Emily swung her right sword at Ryan's chest...though she made sure that if she hit him, he'd be hit by the flat of the blade. It'd still deal medium damage, but there'd be no cut. |

| *Ryan feels the confusion clearing, so he is able to protect himself from wounds again (Also blocking the blood flowing out and the pain). He can still only maintain his sword to attack though. He raises his sword quite quickly and much more efficiently than he would have done before. He jumps back, now not feeling the pain of the cut* "I've never felt true pain before..." *Ryan jumps up quite high, and triwls downwards with his sword with three straight attacks towards Emily's chest, stomach and legs. He lands on the floor sitting, ready to get up (Kind of open for an attack, but still possible for him to block it* |

| Emily blocked the blow to her chest and legs, but was hit in the gut. She received no serious cut, though. Once Ryan was exposed on the ground, Emily saw a chance to use one of her special techniques. Green light glowed around her as she whispered quietly, and then two vines suddenly shot up from the ground at Ryan! The vines tried to wrap around his torso, and if they succeeded, two vines would cover Emily as well. Once the two were trapped, none would be able to move around, but Ryan's HP would be drained and Emily would receive MP (or HP in a battle with healing allowed), that is until the spell finished or Ryan escaped. If Ryan dodged the vines, however, they would remain in place and grab him if he came near. |

| *The vines easily wrap around Ryan as he is still confused enough to not be able to see it coming. He managed to cover himself in his purple haze again though which now means his mind is recieving the damage. | As soon as Ryan escaped from the vines, Emily was released as well. She brought up her green magic shield again as the explosion covered her, reducing the damage significantly. Still, she audibly gasped as the explosion ended - she was getting quite tired. However, she had received enough mana from Ryan to cast a spell immediately, and so she did. Her hands glowed green for a moment, and then the field was covered in thousands of fast moving magic particles, all shaped like leaves, and all as sharp as daggers! As each one blew by Ryan, they would deal light damage if they hit - but there were so many everywhere, by the time the spell ended he was likely to have received heavy damage. In the confusion of the cloud of magic, Emily prepared another arrow to fire at Ryan... |

| *As soon as the first 30 or so leaves hit Ryan, he almost instantly dissappeared. During the time that Ryan had been up, another (the real) Ryan had been struggling free of the vines. This Ryan appeared behind Emily. Mind Power - 80% Mental Life - 73% He covers himself in the purple haze and also casts a new move, which surrounds his body in a blue glow. He has quadrupled his speed, got over 10 times his strength and tripled in size. This will wear off in five turns. Ryan slashes downwards at Emily with his sword Mind Power - 60% Mental Life - 60% * Mental Overdrive - Something Ryan can perfom once per battle. No matter what time this move is used, depending on which is closer rounded down, his Mind Power and Mental Life will be reduced to 60% or 20%. It randomly changes atributes of Ryan, but whatever happens they must add up to 17. The changed attributes can be size, strength, mental restoration speed, attack speed, mental defence and mental strength. |

| Hurro cawed to Emily, alerting her of the now powered-up Ryan behind her. Emily quickly jumped out of the way. Emily: Okay, Hurro, now I think I will need some help! Hurro cawed happily at the news - he had been itching to do more than merely spectate. The bird excitedly flew next to Emily, and then flashed gray. Suddenly, a large cloud appeared around Emily, completely hiding her from view! The cloud had a 20 foot radius, and was a perfect sphere. Anyone who entered the area would see nothing but white fuzz, except for Emily and Hurro. Emily quickly let go of her earth arrow, which was aimed straight for Ryan's chest! After this (it only takes a second to let go of an arrow), she drank a potion from her bag that increased her agility - she would need to dodge all of Ryan's attacks, as at 10x the power, one hit would KO her. |

| *Ryan charged another ball of psychic energy, but because of his increased sze, he can make a bigger, more powerful blast but with the same amount of energy. He holds this in one hand and jumps out of the fog. A verytiny tremor flows through the floor on landing because of his size. He throws the ball into the sphere, using his psychic powers to try and pin-point Hurro's and Emily's location. Mind Power - 58% Mental Life - 60%* |

| The cloud didn't seem to be working - the ball was heading straight for Emily! Hurro quickly dived in the way, suddenly covered with a powerful aura of wind. The ball brushed by the side of the wind shield...and swung completely around, now toward Ryan, and sped to twice its normal speed! Deep inside the cloud, there was a brown flash, caused by a charging earth spell... |

| *Ryan had almost no indirect control of psychic attacks and thus is blasted in the chest. Luckily his new size and strength helped cover a lot of the damage, and he is very resistant to psychic attacks anyway. A larger tremor is sent throught the floor as he hits the ground though. Mind Power - 58% Mental Life - 59% Ryan turns his sword into a 40 foot long pole of psychic energy, and he proceeds to walk right up to the cloud. He holds the pole low and swings it throughout the cloud, trying to knock Emily or Hurro out of it* |

| As Ryan fell to the ground, Emily's spell finished! A large rock formed out of the ground in front of her, and molded around her, forming a very tough shield! Emily was immobile in this state, and had to rely solely on spellcasting, but her shield absorbed any damage directed toward her. All other stat upgrades to her were put on hold. Ryan's pole hit Emily's shield, dealing MASSIVE damage, but Emily was not moved from her spot. Rock Shield's HP: 13/60 (22%) Emily' HP: 15/50 (30%) Inside of her shell, Emily cast another earth spell. Suddenly, the ground beneath Ryan transformed into quicksand! With his size, he would sink into it rather quickly, and take medium-light damage for every turn he remained inside of the pool - though it was hard to escape. The pool would vanish in 3 turns, and if Ryan was still inside...well, he'd be stuck in solid ground. Hurro cawed, and a blast of thunder shot from him to Ryan! This would deal medium-high damage, and had a slight chance of causing paralysis. |

| *Ryan begins to sink and recieves the damage from being in the pool, but Ryan is not that dumb. He performs Mind Over Matter on himself, and begins to float upwards, out of the sand. He lands a good distance away and lift up the sand with Mind Over Matter, attempting to wear away the rock shield surrounding Emily. The thunder bolt hits him but with only half damage because he is slightly thunder elemental, and because of his upgraded size and strength and whatever. Mind Power - 54% Mental Life - 51% Whether this succeeds or not, Ryan then creats a psychic mist in a 30 foot area around Emily to cause medium psychic damage to either the shield if it is still there, or Emily if it has been destroyed. Ryan loses 5% of his mind power for each post the mist stays up Mind Power - 49% Mental Life - 51% 2 turns until the effects of Mental Overdrive wear off* EDIT: There, done. Also, you seemed to have forgotten about Hurro's thunder attack... ...Whoa, now that I'm reading, I saw that 6 posts back (7 when you read this), Emily shot an arrow before drinking an agility potion... what happened to that  ? |
