| Those are some crazy emails. I get a few viruses (don't open them of course), a lot of gibberish which I assume is spam in another language, and the occasional actual, readable spam. Oh, and ignore the emails that say you sent a message with a virus. Probably over 99% of email worms use faked addresses. It's really stupid of AV designers to have them send a message back. |

| Oh holy Jesus, people. It's made up of crazy mixes of characters so you'll open it. In a lot of the cases, there's a hidden 1x1 image there with a unique ID. When you open it - BAM - your email address is verified. You read spam. They know that you read spam. Now they'll send you MORE spam. Congratulations. Surprising one's wife with Viagra would be pretty easy, since, um, your penis wouldn't be dead anymore, and the spammer assumes she'd check in every five minutes to make sure that she knows it is. |
