After three years of off an on looking, I finally found the Meta Fight ROM (Japanese Blaster Master.) I look for it for so long because I wanted to know how the intro movie was different... then it turned out there was no intro movie in the japanese version.

Which really sucked, but did explain why his hair is blue in the end.

Hmmm. I have a few. I loved the Golden Sun games, but those loooooong dialogue sequences. I need to save, my batteries are low, STOP TALKING!!!!!

I've slammed my Gameboy on the ground so hard that the cart flew across the room. The game? Pokemon Gold/Silver. That bastard Red/Ash and his Snorlax. I kept damaging it, it kept using rest. Rest combined with snore. He was able to completely recover and damage my pokemon. I don't like Snorlax...

I was playing Shemue for the Dreamcast, and when I was saving, I guess the VMU moved, cause it froze. And when I went to reload it, I found that the file was corrupted. I had to go through everything again. I don't like looking for sailors.

Today, while playing Conker: Live and Reloaded, I was at the It's War chapter. I was at the part after you save Rodent and have to go through the trenches.

I didn't notice it was storming outside. Just lightning, but still.

A small power surge. It turned off my TV at first and a few other things, and then it turned off my XBox. I decided to go back outside for a bit and then I came back in to continue.

"Your saved data is corrupt or damaged."

...so now I have to start over to beat it again. SO MUCH CRAP I WENT THROUGH! SO MUCH!

Another bad moment: Buying RE4, played it once, never reached first boss, never touched it after first play. I just couldn't go back into playing it again... don't know why, I just couldn't...

What! Dude, RE4 is just about the best GC game out there. I just can't get enough exploding heads.

Though one bad moment in RE4. The final boss was super easy.

Lets see... UYears ago my brothers and I were trying to beat Diddy Kong Racing. The laster SIlver Coin callenges seemed to be flippin' IMPOSSIBLE. We eventually gave up only to learn years later a very useful trick. IF YOU LET GO OF THE ACCELLERATER BEFORE BOOSTING YOU THE POWER OF YOUR BOOST IS INCREASED BY 3128654 BAJILLION (or something like that)!!! I was so ticked. WE eventually beat it though.

Ah, yes, the later challenges in Adventure 2 are seriously not possible. Boulder Canyon is hard enough, but I beat it the first time, then the space ones... The game may be kiddy-looking at first glance but Adventure 2, especially the later parts, is NOT easy!

And Wind Waker cost me a Wavebird because of those damned caterpillars. I throw a few pots of water at them, they miss. I finally hit the damn thing, it falls in the lava and comes back to life again! After that stupid part where you have to throw the bird person at just the right angle and speed to get her to fly, that pissed me off really quick.

I remember another time when I was playing Super Mario Bros 3, there was a storm and somehow the controller shocked me. The game didn't stop, at least not until I shut it off and ran. I was like 8 or so, so yeah.

Well, this is going a bit in the direction I didn't want to go.

Not bad experiences, related to video games. I'm talking about inside them. Like while you are playing.

Any scene/moment that you find disturbing or just don't like.

Well what exactly do you mean? Does dying right at the last boss count? Power going out during the ending? Something you just plain hate about the game?

Yeah, this is especially true when the strategy guide for the game is like so:

"Hay guys, therez anuter gam aftr ths, but we ain't gonna tel yas nethin bouts it!" I eventually beat it, after nearly breaking a controller. But yeah, you have to go so far out of the way to get alot of those damned Silver Coins that it does seem impossible.

Another problem I had is when I was playing Tales of Symphonia. There was one time where they game had been quite vague regarding where I was supposed to go next. Okay, I said, I'll just wander around until I find it. I walk around the ENTIRE map of the first world, trying to find out where the hell I'm supposed to go next...ay, it was not fun at all. And even sadder was the fact that I wasn't supposed to go too far from where I had been.

Finally...well, I think the ultimate worst moment is when you fail a song in DDR. Especially if it's on the last arrow.

I was stuck at the last lever lof Super Mario Land on gameboy forever, but I didn't know it was the last level. Nor did I know you had to FRICKEN SHOOT AT THE BOSS WHILE DODGING WHAT WAS I THINKING AS A KID.
I talked to someone about it, played it through a few times, and beat the game. All those years I felt like a fKitten Yiffer..

Not to mention when my nephews erased my game on SMB so I had to start over again. omg >8(

Experiences.. It took me about 50 tries to beat the Blue Optomon in Guardian Legend, I kid you not. Two full days of playing that game just to beat one boss. That pissed me off.

Some part of the game, that no matter how much anyone tries, it stays the same.

I'm talking about during the scenes, or missions goals that you are forced to follow, or anything that is inevitable.

Yes, too many games start wailing like a firetruck when you get low on health. I HATE that.

Another 'fun' experience was Pok

Every time I try to speed run Battletoads, I basically get to level nine and think to myself "what fun new way will I find to fuck up a nearly flawless run and die THIS time?"

And I inevitably do it, too.

What can we trace that annoying health warning sound to? Zelda? Because it was there first, then Metroid... Startropics had it too I think... Hell, at least 25-30% of all NES games had it. :\

Hah.

Same here, but with Super Metroid speed runs (I've beaten it at 50 minutes now).

One time I got all the way to lower Norfair, and I thought to myself "Hmm, you know, I think I'm going to try to go through it without the screw attack this time", so when I got to a room with a ton of those flying guys (that are also from the original) and had breakable walls that you could destroy with the Screw Attack, also with raising lava ... I eventually got stuck, then killed by the lava.
